About the adventure

You awaken in a room unlike any you've ever seen, everything looks off, everything feels off... The more you think about it, the more you realize that this world is not your own... You have been dragged off into a different world and must uncover the secrets of this mysterious transposition. Multiversal Madness is a campaign that will drag you across the multiverse, through various, legally distinct, settings and locales as you uncover the mysteries of how you got here and how to get home! Your characters will have to band together as unlikely allies outside of their own homes to find a way back to each of your original home worlds and timelines.

About me

Hello! My name is Bee and I have a passion for telling stories of daring-do and marvelous misadventures! I pride myself on creating engaging and challenging, but fair, encounters, marvelous NPCs who still leave the spotlight for all of you, and strong, immersive stories, whether we're playing a homebrew game, or a module!

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will happen on/after session 0, but if you really want to build your character beforehand, feel free! Because this is a multiversal campaign, your character can be from whatever time period/setting you wish, as such, homebrew options will absolutely be allowed and encouraged! As for typical character rolling stuff, here's a list of things to consider: - You can either roll 3 sets of 4d6 drop the lowest 1, or take a standard array of 17, 16, 14, 12, 11, 8. If all three of your stat rolls are worse than standard, you can instead go with standard. - When rolling for health, roll twice and take the highest roll, rerolling any 1s. - You may take a free first level feat, in addition to an Origin feat if using 2024 rules.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need both a Roll20 and Discord account for this game, character sheets will be handled on Roll20, though if you have Beyond20, you can use D&D Beyond for your character sheet.

What Bee brings to the table

As your DM, I utilize my NPCs, vast array of accents/voices/impressions and embellished descriptions to make the world come to life. I pride myself on including everyone in the story, bringing focus to your backstories and getting with each of you to make you feel like you're a part of my setting! I also love creating challenging but fair combats that will leave you on the edge of your seat. These combats are tailored to be nail biters, but not total party killers. I'm also great at improvisation, if you want to make something happen, 9 times out of 10, I will work with you to see what we can do to make that thing happen. If you have a creative way of solving a problem, I can roll with that. Finally, I am a lore fiend! I love learning all of the lore of the settings I know and love. When it comes to the lore for this campaign, you're in good hands.

Homebrew rules

- Potions: You can drink healing potions as an action regaining the amount rolled, or you can take an action to drink it and regain the maximum possible amount. - Death Saves: I ask that everyone roll death saves privately. - Crafting: I have additional rules for crafting and spell making. - Travel and Downtime: I have additional rules for more travel and downtime activities!

Safety

How Bee creates a safe table

We will have a free session 0 to discuss rules and expectations as well as to introduce ourselves to one another. I also have a consent form for each of my players to fill out and private message to me so that we're not stepping on any toes while we play! I also have an open door policy for all of my players, if anyone has a problem with another player, or a ruling I made or just needs assistance with their sheet/the game, you're always free to message me and discuss any questions, comments or concerns you have!
