About the adventure
For centuries, the oceans marked the edge of civilization. Sailors spoke of impossible storms, ghost ships, and waters where no compass could guide a vessel. Most dismissed the stories as tall tales meant to frighten young deckhands. Then the sea began to retreat. As the tides pulled back, entire continents emerged from beneath the waves. Forgotten kingdoms, ancient temples, and long-lost civilizations now stand exposed, untouched for millennia. Every empire, merchant guild, pirate fleet, and treasure hunter has launched an expedition to claim the riches of this new world before anyone else. You are among the first to answer the call. Whether driven by fortune, fame, redemption, or simple curiosity, you'll gather a crew, command a ship, and chart waters no living soul has ever sailed. Recruit unforgettable companions, upgrade your vessel, discover mysterious islands, and uncover relics that history itself has forgotten. No two voyages are ever the same. One island may hide a thriving civilization isolated from the world for centuries, while the next is home to monstrous creatures, ancient ruins, or secrets better left buried. Every destination offers new allies, dangerous enemies, and choices that shape both your crew and the world around you. But beneath the excitement of discovery, unsettling questions begin to surface. Why did the oceans suddenly recede? Why do forgotten maps depict lands no one remembers? And why do ancient ruins across the world all bear the same warning? As kingdoms wage war over newly claimed territory, something far older than any empire stirs beneath the waves. The greatest age of exploration has begun—but history has a way of hiding its darkest truths beneath the tides. What You Can Expect A player-driven sandbox with meaningful choices Naval exploration and ship-to-ship combat Recruitable NPC crew with personal storylines Ship upgrades, customization, and progression Treasure hunting, ancient ruins, and forgotten civilizations Memorable villains, rival captains, and political intrigue Tactical combat balanced with roleplay and exploration A long-form story where your decisions permanently shape the world Raise the anchor. About me
~20 years of rpg gaming which led me to DND... Needless to say, I've found something that I can throw my creative juices into! I love to create worlds where the players can immerse themselves and let their imaginations run wild. I am not the biggest "rulebook" stickler - meaning I'm ok twisting some things or homebrewing here and there. That said, there is always going to be some structure in the form of precedent and clear communication of how to address certain scenarios moving forward. I wouldn't call myself the 'premier' choice of DM, but I want to make this content accessible and grow from the experience playing with you!
