About the adventure
In modern times, it's easier than ever to be a vampire. With blood on demand and modern technology, gone are the days of sneaking around, killing and draining villagers. Hell, most people don't even think you exist! But you do, and just because you can get a dose of A-neg with the press of a button doesn't mean your unlife is without its own problems. You have your own goals in this city, but so does your Sire, and your clans leader, and not to mention what the Prince is planning. Rarely do these goals all mutually benefit one another. There's also the Beast, ever present, always in the back of your mind waiting for you to screw up, to lose control for just a moment. So yeah, being a vampire certainly isn't sunshine and rainbows, but the fangs are a plus. Playing in 5th edition Vampire the Masquerade, we are going to be exploring the challenge that comes from trying to balance humanity while literally being a monster. Players will be encouraged to have active goals they are seeking to accomplish in the world at large while maintaining their obligations to their clan and the other vampires present. And as always trying not to expose the secret that vampires exist to those easily spooked mortals.

About me
My beginnings started over a decade ago. I was asked by a friend to help create a Pokémon D&D campaign. It was in 4th edition, and what we made was janky, overly complicated, and an absolute mess. But I was hooked. Ever since then I have fallen in love with creating and telling stories with my friends. Whether it was creating evil and terrifying vampires for Vampire the Masquerade, exploring giant labyrinthine cave systems in Dungeons and Dragons, telling stories of interpersonal connections and choices in games like Die, or anything in between I have never not had fun when creating collaborative stories

Creating your character
We will have a free session 0 where we will go over character creation and things that might tie the players together. Players will be making Childer, Vampires who are still young and likely bound to their sires and trying to break free.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Join my discord server https://discord.gg/H4ZrBpe9Pk I will make sure you get added to the correct channels where you can talk and get acquainted with the other players. I like to use Demiplane for character creation, but I am fine with other ways as well.
What Kole brings to the table
I provide ambient music and fun character voices. I love telling stories where my players are the focus and the choices you all make can shape the world around you. I am much more a fan of Rule of Cool, but I will push back if I think you are going too far with it.

How Kole creates a safe table
During session 0 I will send out a Lines and Veils form for people to fill out. I also let people know that they can X card at any time for any reason and we will move on no questions asked. I may reach out in dm's after the game to check in if players seemed uncomfortable. Player's fun and safety is always at the front of my mind.
