About the adventure
Amber is home to many powerful beings, but a strange new god has appeared calling on people to follow him. Devotees claim strange new powers and the truth, but at what cost? Does this new god have good intentions? Is he really a god? Amber is not known to have god-like beings so something strange is happening. Will you take it upon yourselves to discover more? Already his followers are spreading out and converting others. Will this affect your realm? Will you listen to this new god? Amber is a game where you can start with magical items, powers and even your own realms/kingdoms. It is a high-powered game where money has little value. You will build relationships and make alliances. You always must be wary of your family as they plot against everyone. This game is unlike any form of D&D and is very fun. I am using a d8 mechanic, unlike the diceless nature originally. If you want a game that is truly unique and not your typical dungeon delve, this is it!!! This is a beginner friendly campaign for Amber. It is dice-based and roleplay heavy. It's very different from D&D. In amber you have great power and character death is very rare. Emphasis is on story and character development. There's cool abilities like Pattern, Trump, Logrus and Shapeshifting. These are powers you can start with right away. The Amber Diceless game contains an infinite number of worlds called shadows for you to explore. Past, Present and Future can all be found. Using only 4 attributes to decide issues, this game is very unique. I have PDFs and would love to welcome you to the world of Amber! I've been GMing for it since 1994. It's my favorite RPG other than D&D! Now using a simple d8 mechanic for resolution!

I am 48 years old. I started with AD&D 2e and have played 3.5 D&D, 4e D&D, Hackmaster 4e, Amber, Genesys and Serenity. I love to do more open-ended campaigns. I am always welcoming to my players and encourage them to have a good time. I am willing to adjust my style if needed, though I think most players would enjoy my games. My background is in ESL Teaching. I have lived in South Korea, Mexico and Costa Rica. I enjoy Football and am a big NY Jets fan.
