About the adventure
Welcome to PokéU Panic!, a college-themed Pokémon tabletop adventure set in the sprawling Vertress City. You’ll play as first-year trainers attending the prestigious Helix Metropolitan University, where students balance classes, friendships, rivalries, club activities, and intense Pokémon battles in the heart of a massive urban region. From rooftop tournaments to late night subway explorations, campus life is anything but ordinary. But beneath the excitement of freshman year, something is going wrong. Students have started disappearing after encounters with unusually aggressive Pokémon, strange research projects are rumored to be hidden in a secret lab beneath the university, and rumors spread about a secret experiment known only as Project Halo. What begins as rumors and urban legends slowly grows into a citywide mystery involving corporate sponsors, underground battle circuits, and forces no one on campus fully understands. This campaign is designed for 10-15 sessions including a session 0, and blends roleplay heavy college drama with mystery, exploration, and Pokémon battles. Expect a mix of slice-of-life moments, dangerous investigations, memorable rivals, and big cinematic finales as your group decides what kind of trainers and people they want to become. Whether you’re here for friendship, chaos, competition, or conspiracy, your semester at Helix University is going to be unforgettable.

About me
Howdy! My name is Ellie. I have been playing and DMing DND 5e and a host of other systems (such as Masks, Monster of the Week, Good Society, and have even made my own TTRPG system) for almost 10 years. I would love to take my skill set and use it to host even more games. DMing is super fun for me, and I love coming up with new modules and story ideas to have a good time with players foiling my plans every step of the way. I am part of the LGBT community, and when I host games you can be sure that it is a safe space for any queer players. I also do not tolerate racism, sexism, or any other hateful content or speech at my tables. I aim to make my games fun and safe for all involved. On this note, I utilize the X card so that players know they can take a time out any time if needed to discuss how to proceed if they are uncomfortable with a current situation in game. I am open to almost any setting or system that you want to try. I am a flexible, highly collaborative DM who plays for the love of the game. Please feel free to message me any specific questions on discord.

What Ellie brings to the table
This is my first experience running PTU so please be patient! I love to collaborate with players and my favorite game is a player led game where I respond to what you guys want to do. However, if you want a more structured and linear narrative game that is also fine with me.

How Ellie creates a safe table
We will be taking breaks throughout sessions, and players will be free to use the x card at any time for any reason. I have a zero tolerance policy for bigotry at the table, and I try to approach topics with sensitivity and care. My table is LGBTQ+ friendly.
