About the adventure
Granular radio static resolves into the voice of a young, growly woman. Her voice is gentle but strained by years of cigarette smoke. "Goooooood morning choombas! You're listening to 98.2 Shiv FM, Night City's HOTTEST techno station! Today is September 4th, 2045, and the temperature outside is a balmy thirty-five degrees. We're expecting record levels of bloodrain this evening, so don't forget to pack an umbrella—or three!" "Annnyywhooo... Did you folks hear the news about H11? Apparently the city realized they were never gonna finish the damn thing by themselves, and so they're licensing the construction out to foreign corps! Huzzah! This... 'Future BuildWorks' company is neck and neck with Zhirafa right now, fighting over the contract in a city-wide game of municipal tug-of-war. Can't say I've ever heard of the former, but between the power outages, security breaches, and water filtration issues... the residents of H11 oughta be happy a corp finally took interest in them. But the question remains... with Megabuilding H10, the home of 98.2 Shiv FM, right down the block... what does H11 have that's sticking up the pricks of all the corpos at Zhirafa and Buildworks?" THE YEAR IS 2045. Rent is high and gigs are few and far between. Your day job and the occasionally dirty deed aren't enough to keep you and your loved ones afloat, so you turn to edgerunning as an answer. You're contracted by a Fixer named Otto Kaufmann to defend your home, H11, from imminent danger and threats interposed by local boostergangers. In the time between jobs, you quickly find yourselves playing both sides of a conflict far eclipsing the narrow scope of gang warfare, including organized crime, terrorist attacks, and corporate conspiracies that go back generations. Live fast. Die young. Make a name for yourself or die trying.

About me
I'm a queer gamemaster and writer with eight years of experience across countless systems. I'm an avid homebrewer, passionate playtester, and lover of all things sci-fi and cyberpunk. If you're playing a game with me, it'll probably be Cyberpunk RED or D&D 5e/2024; that's where the lion's share of my experience is.

Creating your character
Characters for this game will begin with one rank in their respective role ability rather than four. Starting budget will be restricted; more details at session zero. All characters will be residents of the Megabuilding H11 complex in the Watson Development district. I will work one-on-one with each of you to tie your backstories into the main plot and make sure you feel like you are getting the most out of your character!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure your computer can run FoundryVTT! There are web demos available online for that sort of thing. Chances are, if you're not running on a Chromebook, you'll be fine. Once you've done that, contact me on Discord (@judebug). We will arrange a short fifteen-minute interview to answer any questions you might have and then we will go from there. Once we've felt out the vibe, I'll invite you to the Discord server!
What Jude brings to the table
Hey choombas! I want to start by saying this table is completely beginner-friendly. As an experienced Cyberpunk RED GM, I have no issue breaking down lore and mechanics for the inexperienced player. Once we're all comfortable with the system, I won't be afraid to pull out all the stops. Ambient music, character voices, tactical combat... the whole shebang. Expect a strict adherence to rules-as-written at first, but I will loosen up after the first few sessions once everyone has gotten into a rhythm.
Homebrew rules
DYNAMIC INITIATIVE Initiative bonuses, such as Sandevistan, Timewarp, etc., are now applied at the top of the next round if activated as an Action during combat. NIGHT CITY TAROT The optional tarot rules from the Night City Tarot DLC. LUCKY MULLIGAN This is a rule from the Listen Up! Rob Mulligan DLC: “The Lucky Mulligan allows you, a Player, to spend the points after the Check at double the cost. What once cost 1 LUCK point for a +1 now costs 2 LUCK stat points.” CEMK HUMANITY RULES The monthly and incidental Humanity Gain/Loss tables from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit will be used to guide humanity gain and loss. FLASH OF LUCK The Flash of Luck rules from Hope Reborn which allow a player character to retroactively grant themselves an item using their LUCK.
