About the adventure
Not all members of the Parliament were completely immoral, but the few ones who were, committed utterly horrible crimes. And egos of the scientists, with the excitement of new possibilities, made them gave into their darker sides at the behest of the Alliance. While The Alliance ensured the expansion and survival of human civilization, they did so by harming countless people. Your group decides the price of scientific advancement is not worth the tears of the innocent. You realized their greed, and lust for power caused too much agony in the 'verse. Will you go up into the sky with likeminded brothers and sisters, and purge the 'Verse or die tryin'? This game's story will take place at the same time as the events of the shows Firefly and Serenity, but your mission will take you on a completely different and more perilous path. Who knows, you might just encounter the infamous crew- but whether that will benefit you or wound you is a gamble you will have to take. The game will be 50% social roleplay split between fake flattery, foul threats, and shameless lies, and the remaining 50% will be split between espionage, sabotage, coughing up blood, abduction, infiltration, getting tortured, interrogation, thievery, and losing a finger or three.

About me
Greetings. I am a 40 years old academician who has been playing TTRPGs for over 20 years. My methods and preferences in worldbuilding, lore harmony, philosophical injections, and character development in creative writing have been influenced by classics such as Lord of the Rings, Buffy/Angel, Xena, Battlestar Galactica, Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Creating your character
Once a player signs up for the game, we will determine a time that is convenient for them, and create their characer sheet together via Discord voice chat.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players need roll20 account, as well as Discord for voice chat.
What Relik brings to the table
This system is extremely easy to learn, and flexible since most mechanics are narrative-driven. Only thing that needs your focus is your roleplay. I will occasionally use background music to set the atmosphere. I do not do voices or accents, and I do not expect players to do it either. I believe the substance of the spoken sentence is what matters the most.
Homebrew rules
There are no homebrew rules, but I am more than happy to adjust abilities and gear to help players bring their character concepts to life.
