About the adventure

The god's light has guided the world for centuries. Temples stand tall, their bells ringing out prayers for protection, peace, and prosperity. But the light is fading. Rumors spread of holy sites reduced to ash, of clerics disappearing without a trace, and of a name whispered in fear a force that none of the god's champions have been able to stop. Some say it's the work of demons, rising from the depths to wage war on the heavens. Other speak of betrayed spirts, seeking vengeance for wrongs long buried. But no one knows for sure. Faith is crumbling, and the realm tetters on the edge of chaos. In these troubled times, you find yourself drawn into the heart of the mystery. Whether it's fate, coincidence, or something more sinister, you're about to learn that the god's light isn't as pure as you once believed. And some flames can never be extinguished. About me

Hello all and welcome to my table I'm Wyatt your local fey DM. Your journey here must have been long please take a seat. I've been playing D&D 5e since it came out back in 2014 and have been DMing for half that time. My brother got me into it one night when I tagged along to a game store and fell in love instantly.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will be making PCs at session 0. We will roll stats with rolling two sets of rolls while re rolling all 1's that show up. Anything that is official content is allowed.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

We will be using discord for voice and foundry VTT for battlemaps. You will need to make a The Forge account so that I can share foundry VTT with you.

What Wyatt the DM brings to the table

I use curated background music to set the mood for roleplay and dial up the energy during high-stakes combat. Battles in my game are never just static slugfests to the death; expect interactive environments you can weaponize and shifting objectives that reward creative tactics. Your character's backstory matters. I weave your history, allies, and personal goals directly into the main plot, ensuring your decisions shape the world. Because combat involves more than just lowering an enemy's health pool, you can use the terrain, negotiate mid-fight, or find clever alternatives to achieve victory.

Homebrew rules

You can use a bounce action to use a healing potion. You will roll if you use a bounce action and will get the full amount if you use an action. All other potions take an action. I roll death saving throws and tell the player I roll for. If you want to multiclass you have to have an in game reason. YOu my start as as multiclassed but put it in your backstory. Choose one of these feats at the start of the game. Actor Athlete Inspiring Leader Dungeon delver Durable Skill Expert Keen Mind Linguist Chef Telekinetic Tavern brawler Weapon master
