Crooked Moon Campaign (2024) Lvls 3-15

Creating your character

1. You're welcome to create a character before, but character Creation may also take place during session 0. 2. You can send me a character sheet to upload to roll20, or we can make the character in roll20. 3. We'll be creating characters using both the DND 2024 and the Crooked Moon 2024 ruleset. 4. For stats we'll be rolling 4d6 with lowest roll taken out. You can reroll once per stat. 5. Starting at level 3. 6. Have character art ready before session 1, or it can be provided if needed. Can be 2 different pieces of art for a token and banner, or 1 can be used for both.

Preparing for the session

1. You'll need to make a free account for both roll20 and discord. 2. Content for both DND 2024 and the Crooked Moon 2024 will be provided. 3. A mic that is functional. 4. A discord server will be available upon joining the campaign.

What Brandon brings to the table

I'll be using both music and character voices throughout the story. I like to keep a balance between roleplay and combat. Rule of cool is always available. I enjoy watching how characters interact with both the world and between themselves, so I'll always leave room for roleplay. Will have an after-session discussion to go over any improvements that can be made or anything awesome that happened during the session.

Homebrew rules

1. Critical hits will be a FULL roll damage with an additional damage roll. 2. Using healing potions as an action will get full heal, roll on a bonus action. 3. Limited Short Rests. 4. 1 point of exhaustion equal to the spell slot used, when completely out of spell slots. I.E. Casting a level 2 spell will incur 2 points of exhaustion. 5. 3 strike rule, First player to call for a roll must roll first, additional rolls up to either 3 rolls or 3 players whichever is first. 6. Can switch between 2 weapons for free per turn.

How Brandon creates a safe table

Safety tools will be thoroughly explained during session 0. Will include Consent sheet to accurately show a players lines and veils. After-session discussion will take place to air any concerns, questions, and overall feelings of the session.
