Fourth Age: FATE OF HARONDOR

About the adventure

The Dark Lord is no more. For sixteen years, the White Tree has grown in peace. Wisely and well has High King Elessar Telcontar ruled. His Reunited Kingdom prospers. Faraway Harondor, once devastated by war, now flourishes, even beneath the relentless sun of the south. Towns and cities have been rebuilt, trade grows, and along the river Harnen the population has all but tripled, reaching a splendor not seen since the days of the Ship Kings. It is said Ancalimon of the Long Bridge, the new territorial capital, will soon rival Umbar & Pelargir. Yet tensions, once long settled, flare up once more, renewed by ill fortune and old hatreds: Unseasonal storms have caused devastation throughout the Harnendor, Corsairs have renewed their raids throughout the region & worst of all, the venerable governor of Harondor, Lord Valacar, and the young Lord of Ancalimon, Lalôr, have been treacherously assassinated during a diplomatic parlay with the new ruler of Amrun. Harondor and the Haradrim kingdom stand poised for war. But not all may be as it seems... It is now up to a new generation to secure peace, as was done before, or bare the dire consequences of open conflict. ////////////////////////////////////////////////// This is an original adventure set during the Fourth Age, with a focus on the regions of HARONDOR and HARAD! PCs will be tasked with investigating the Harondor troubles + one of you may very well be the noble son/daughter of the Gondorian Lord Valacar, accompanied by an eclectic retinue! In session 0, we'll talk character goals, mechanics, and cap it off with some flashbacks to how you got to Harondor. Thank you for your interest.
