About the adventure
GAME WILL NOT BE PLAYING UNTIL AFTER AUGUST 1, 2026 High above the world, a massive floating museum drifts between cities and kingdoms, carrying priceless treasures under layers of magical security. When a rare opportunity arises to infiltrate it mid-journey, word spreads quickly through the underworld: there’s something worth stealing aboard, and only the most daring crews will make it out clean. You are one of those crews—whether seasoned thieves, unlikely allies, or opportunists in over your head. This is a fantasy heist-focused game built around planning, infiltration, and adapting when things go wrong. You’ll work together to break into a heavily guarded skybound facility, navigate shifting security, outsmart patrols, and decide how far you’re willing to go when the plan inevitably starts to fall apart. Expect a mix of roleplay, problem-solving, and tactical encounters, with plenty of room for creative approaches and clever improvisation. The tone is cinematic and collaborative: tense when it needs to be, but always driven by player choices and unexpected solutions. This game is ideal for players who enjoy heists, teamwork, and the satisfaction of pulling off (or barely surviving) a job that absolutely should not have worked.

About me
I have been GMing games for a few years now, starting about a year after I played DnD for the first time. I am familiar with DnD best, and Star Wars Edge of the Empire second best. I've been GMing DnD for almost 5 years now. I am also very anti AI, so this will be true in every game I run.

Creating your character
Before the first session, please create your character using D&D Beyond. This helps keep everything organized and makes it easy to share character sheets with me and the rest of the table. Once your character is complete, send it to me for approval before the session so I can make sure everything fits the tone and balance of the game. Characters should be built at Level 6. You may use official D&D 5e rules for species, class, and background. If you’re unsure whether something is allowed, just ask! I’m happy to help you build or refine your concept. Use point-buy for stats. All characters, including race/species, class choices, backgrounds, equipment, and magic items, must be submitted for GM approval prior to Session 1. Because this is a high-level fantasy heist, your characters begin with two uncommon magic items. These should support your concept or role in the group (for example: stealth, infiltration, combat, support, or utility). Please choose items from official sources when possible, and keep in mind that I will review and approve all magic items before play to ensure they fit the game’s balance and story. If you need help building a character or deciding on magic items, feel free to reach out! I’m more than happy to work with you to make something fun, effective, and fitting for the adventure.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will use Discord and Roll20 for this. Those should be the only things needed, if anything changes it will be made clear as soon as possible.
What Cris brings to the table
I love to use Rule of Cool as it allows for many things to happen that otherwise couldn't happen.(i.e., a player launched off another player's shield and landed in a horde of enemies). I tend not to use ambient music as I do find it a bit distracting for myself, but I am willing to put something on for the players if they'd like it!
