Come join the folk under the trees, in a world filled with whimsical characters and strange horrors. Where folksy charm can hide dark motives, and sometimes the terrifying monsters are kindhearted and gentle souls. They say the old roads are dark and there are no more heroes in the world… Well just wait till they meet you. Explore a world full of the weird and the wondrous, danger and discovery, lore-seeking wanderers, fortune seeking pilgrims, and adventure seeking do-gooders, your heroes will attempt to travel across the world under the trees encountering both the hilarious and horrifying. Will you become heroes of legend, or will you join the lost who have wandered into the woods never to be found? Join us to find out! How GMJabberwocky creates a safe table
All of the CW in this game can be adjusted to better fit the group and what would make everyone comfortable. You can expect me to use the following safety tools. 0️⃣ Session Zero: Every player will get a one on one session to make characters, talk about themes you want to play about and express concerns about any of the content warnings. ❌Lines and Veils: During session zero I will take a list of anything you want to list as a line or veil and will reference this list while planning to make sure and respect these concerns. You are also welcome to update your lines and veils at anytime without concern. 🚪Open Door: Take a break anytime, with absolutely no judgement and come back anytime. 🤗Aftercare: At the end of the session you will have a chance to voice any concerns, I will also send a message checking if you enjoyed the session to give you an open line to communicate any concerns. ⭐Stars and Wishes: At the end of every arc we will take a moment to come up with things we liked about the story so far and things we would like to change in the next one. This gives me a chance to tweak our story to give you more of what you enjoy. ALL CONTENT WARNINGS ARE SUBJECT TO LINES AND VEILS AND CAN BE ALTERED UPON EXPRESSION OF DISCOMFORT DURING LINES AND VEILS.
