About the adventure

Otari is a fishing town made by and for adventurers. 400 years of seeing off threats and foiling evil plans the place still stands but new problems keep cropping up and you're here to solve the latest. Or one of them at least. Just like all adventurers you're starting at the bottom, getting whatever work you can. It just so happens this one might be more than you bargained for. Under Ethel's fish shop a mild earthquake has given rise to some critters making their way into her storehouse but unbeknownst to her and the town of Otari a greater much deeper lair of threats that you'll be overcoming. Endure traps, monsters and puzzles that offer a challenge and claim the riches and fame that come from punching above your weight class. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ All players are welcome to join in this short little campaign of 3-5 sessions with an additional free session 0 to build your characters and get to know each other. This module is built to gradually adjust you to the core feature of Pathfinder 2e. From combat, exploring and social encounters the whole thing will feel like a smooth transition from one skill set into another. You can expect a mixed variety of challenges with the choices to make it harder or easier depending on what you choose to do all culminating in a final battle to really test your skill. I your DM will be there to set to answer any questions you might have whenever they might come up in and out of session.

About me

HI I'm Eileen. a 26 year old DM who has been taking groups through different worlds and systems for about 3 years now! Having started back when I was 16 with some casual games I have created a long lasting group of rotating players who I love giving the chance to play systems they always wanted to try and stories they want to tell. Character creation

Creating your character

At session 0 before we get started in the campaign we will all get together to make sure everyone can access Foundry and their own personal character sheets. Once that is done I will walk everyone who needs it through making their own character. Since this might be the first time for a few people we will be sticking to the core rule book. For those with more experience and who are comfortable we can expand it out to a wider selection of choices.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

A discord and a Forge account will be necessary.

What Eileen Wigley brings to the table

When you're a player in my game I will be bringing along the maps, music, background, and voices. As well as a welcoming safe environment for you to ask questions. The games will be run for roughly 3 hours with a short 15 minutes after 2 hours. I will be focusing on sticking to the rules during combat with sensible choices for creatures not acting the most tactical except when they have practice fighting. Don't expect rats and crabs to be fighting extra hard or sticking around if things turn dire. Enemies will feel active and talkative during conflicts to keep the whole thing feel more like a fight rather than just rolling dice. I encourage players to try and talk during combat as well. You will be put first in roleplay scenes where NPCs are around, I dislike having long scenes of NPCs talking to each as the story is about you and your choices. So feel free to go talk and interact with anyone or anything.

Homebrew rules

There will be no homebrew rules.
