About the adventure
The people of Kallein plead for aid. They say a sphinx swoops down on them, poaching precious livestock, even slaying a merchant on the road. As local legend has it, the enigmatic sphinx Kidemonas guards a sacred reliquary past the forest, up the mountain. She tested champions, heroes, by an ordeal of riddles — and trial by combat. Now, she seems to embrace chaos and slaughter. Will you brave the challenge? The original base of this story was written by Joel Russ that has been adapted to my custom Greek setting. A world where all the myths are history. Limited races and no clerics. Limited races include: Humans, several varieties of Nymphs, Tritons, Medusa, Minotaur, Satyrs, Dragonborn, and Warforged. Complete guide will be included on the discord. The game will be played in Foundry VTT, accompanied by a voice call in Discord. During the game, it will be used alongside Theater of Mind to provide a full image of any events and situations that might happen. Artwork, soundtracks, and battle maps will be provided by the DM.

About me
Hello Epic Heroes! My name is Alex, and I've been running TTRPGs for about 2 and some change years now and playing for four. I deeply love all things storytelling. I especially love telling stories that make people feel and think about things inside the worlds of fiction. I want to give my players a place to tell the stories they want. To be transported to another world full of life and wonder for them to explore and learn about. My day job is as a mechanical engineer, and I am a Greek mythology nerd. All my dnd games are run in a homebrew world based on ancient Greek myths. I’m also queer, neurodivergent, with ADHD and dyslexia. I take safety and respecting people's identities very seriously. Creating your character
We’ll be creating characters either before the game begins or together in session 0. We will go over the campaign and setting to clarify any questions in session 0, and then we proceed into Character Creation and integrating your character into the setting and story. Characters need approval from the DM before continuing to the game. After our group meeting we will meet One-on-one with me where I'll help you create it using Foundry VTT. Characters will start at Level 7, using 2014 rule set and standard ability score generation (standard array). The player races are limited in this setting. The document of the available races will also be in the discord. We will also be using the piety system by J. J. Crowley with some exceptions the document will be included on the discord. There will also be No Clerics. - (Recommended if you have some experience) You bring a character idea already based on the provided materials, and I'll help you create it using Foundry VTT; - (Recommended if you have no experience) You select from a list of characters I have already created before tackling character creation.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Internet, Computer, and Mic are required. No software installation needed. Foundry VTT provides everything you will need. A Discord account as well as the Discord application installed on the device where you will connect your microphone A review of the materials and rules of the discord.

Foundry VTT: A powerful software with dynamic lighting and special effects capabilities. Maps: High-definition maps from professional artists or custom made by me. Music: Music and ambiance from professional artists. Extensive knowledge of Greek mythology.
Homebrew rules
Homebrew rules will be available documented on the discord. Examples of a few are as followed: - Potions as Bonus Actions: Drinking a healing potion takes a bonus action, not a full action - Death Isn’t the End (Always): Depending on story circumstances, death may result in unusual consequences unique curses and bargains with the gods. How Alex the Weaver creates a safe table
The game will be paced according to the players' comfort with the rules. Every session contains a 5-10 minute break. Safety Tools will be covered in each player's first session. A Discord server will be used for the games and any game-related questions. Music and ambiance sound will be used. The volume is controllable by each player.
