About the adventure
Icewind Dale is a frigid expanse few dare to explore, let alone inhabit. Recently, this land has become even more hostile, as the demigod Auril the Frostmaiden has plunged the land into perpetual night. The locals have taken to calling this event the "Everlasting Rime" and it has dwindled the numbers of local flora, and fauna that rely on said flora. The people of Icewind Dale have become desperate, and resorted to human sacrifices to Auril to try and appease the God and possibly earn some relief. What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please have a Roll20 and Discord account made and ready to go. Microphone is required. When you sign up for the game I will link you the discord server. D&D Beyond is a useful tool if you have the source material purchased, but absolutely not necessary.
What Damion brings to the table
Rich descriptions and cinematic moments. Ambient music to set the mood. Fun and wacky encounters. Challenging combat, and mysteries to solve. Living world that keeps on turning, and events happen in other locations while you are out adventuring.
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion as a bonus action. Player Crits max the dice damage and then roll again.

How Damion creates a safe table
Everyone will have a lines and veils checklist to see what topics are to be avoided. In session zero we will also discuss any "no-goes" for topics that will not show up during the game. During the game, we will have an X card anyone can plop down on screen and we will pause and skip the topic. I also have an open-door policy; if there are any issues you can bring them right to me. I'll try to fix the issue and make the table more accommodating.
