About the adventure
Britain stands on the edge of legend. The County of Salisbury is one of the oldest and most respected realms in Logres, a land of proud manors, ancient churches, winding forests, and hard-won order beneath the rule of Earl Roderick. Yet even here, peace is fragile. Saxon warbands still threaten the borders, rival lords compete for influence, old British customs clash with newer ideals of chivalry, and the realm waits anxiously beneath the uncertain reign of King Uther. You are young knights sworn into Salisbury’s service at the beginning of a changing age. Over the coming decades, you will fight in wars, serve at court, forge alliances, marry, raise heirs, and guide your family through the rise of Arthurian Britain. You may earn land and titles, command men in battle, seek fame through tournaments and quests, or become drawn into the dangerous politics of kings, nobles, and the Church. This will be a generational campaign of knighthood, loyalty, ambition, and sacrifice. You will ride against Saxon raiders, settle feuds between nobles, attend courts filled with rivalry and romance, and watch the world slowly transform around you. Salisbury is not a land on the verge of collapse, but a realm struggling to preserve order, honour, and tradition in an age where everything feels ready to change. Bloodlines matter. Oaths matter. Glory matters. When Arthur rises, you will not merely hear stories of legend — your family will stand amongst those who helped shape it. The tone of this game is serious but not bleak: grounded, character-focused, and emotionally invested. Pendragon is a game where your knight’s personality traits and passions have real mechanical weight. Your honour, pride, mercy, faith, love, hatred, and loyalty can lead you toward greatness or destroy everything you build. Expect meaningful roleplay, dangerous combat, political tension, romance, loss, and long-term storytelling where decisions carry consequences across years and generations. I've been a premium GM since 2020 and I specialize in D&D, Shadowdark and more recently, Pendragon. Creating your character
Character Creation takes place in Session 0, either one on one or with other new players joining the game. Players may choose whether to construct or roll for their traits/passions, but the decision must be unanimous for all players. We'll use the PDF from the Core Rulebook to go through the entire process, creating you a standout knight.

What LokisLair brings to the table
I will provide you with your own personal experience of the world of dark-ages mythic Britain. I do voices, utilize ambient music, and provide a mixture of theatre of the mind and tactical combat. I take my job as a Game Master very seriously and put a great deal of effort into entertaining you. I have my own custom Roll20 Screens for Battles, Skirmishes, Hunting, and Feasting; which really adds to the quality of the game.
Homebrew rules
- A major wound does not automatically knock you unconscious. Instead, you must roll a d20 check vs your remaining hit points in order to remain in the fight, which is similar to how Pendragon 5e did it. This is because whilst some major wounds could render a Knight unconscious, adrenalin is a wonderful thing.
