About the adventure

Once every few generations a scholar claims to have found Widdershin’s Thrice-Bound Codex, a book that reads the reader inside and out, answers in slantwise truth, and attempts to rewrite choices. Most claims are forgeries. This time it is real. Widdershin, the author who mysteriously slipped from history, hid the Codex long ago in a small reading hall. He has returned to “test the worthy”… or simply to get his Codex back. You as the player will uncover the truth of Widdershin's Codex. You will be challenged with numerous puzzles in this puzzle-forward adventure, light combat adventure. This adventure is designed as an introduction to Daggerheart's weird and wonderful atmosphere and great for individuals new to the system. Gather your dice and join the hunt!

About me

Hi! I have been a Dungeon Master for Dungeons and Dragons since 2016 and have been running Daggerheart games since launch. Telling a story is number one in my book. If that means stretching the rules, I usually always rule on the side of cool. I am a huge fan of building a world that the players can change and effect with their decisions. If the players make a decision to release the entombed elemental dragons, that decision resonates through every game I run from that point on. If the players become known as the hero's that dismantled the slave trade in Evermoor, they may just find a statue built in their honor years later by new characters. I want my players to feel like every decision matters and it wont just disappear after the game has concluded.
