About the adventure
In "Stonetop" the players portray the heroes of an isolated village near the edge of the known world. Their adventures focus on dealing with threats to the village and seizing opportunities. These aren’t rootless mercenaries seeking fortune and glory; they’re exceptional people, taking risks on behalf of their friends, family, and neighbors. The village of Stonetop has its own character sheet, or “playbook,” with stats, traits, and improvements to be unlocked in play. As a game of Stonetop progresses, the village playbook changes in response to the victories and failures of the player-characters. And as the village changes, so do the threats and opportunities that heroes face. "Stonetop" is Powered by the Apocalypse, so players who will enjoy it are the players who enjoy a lot of sincere roleplaying, collaborative storytelling, exploring the relationships between each other, and narrative systems over mechanical ones. So come join me for a deep, personal journey of characters who fight for their loved ones and protect their community! I plan to really dig into Stonetop for a long, meaty campaign.

About me
I've been obsessed with RPGs since I was in middle school and my friend handed me the D&D 4e handbook. I've been playing RPGs off and on through various one-shots and mini-campaigns since high school. Those early years my DMing career consisted mostly of my brother and I messing around in one-on-one sessions. Things really started kicking off for me in college, where I ran and played in multiple campaigns. I ran Star Wars FFG, Legend of the Five Rings FFG and The Expanse campaigns throughout my college years. It was also around this time that I started learning and performing Improv, which hugely impacted how I ran and played the game, as well as shaped me as a storyteller. I generally enjoy a lot of narrative and roleplay, with a healthy dose of combat, and lately my goals for DMing include improving my combat encounters. Creating your character
Character creation is built into the first session of a Stonetop campaign. We will collectively create our characters together while also doing a lot of world-building as we create not just our own version of Stonetop village, but our connections, roles, and places within that village.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need to prepare for Stonetop is to friend me on discord (PentaPo#5614), read the single chapter on player rules in the rulebook (PDF provided for free), and you're all set! We've also been using Miro Board for our character sheets, and players may feel free to make a Miro account, but this is not necessary at all.

Players in my game of Stonetop can expect a rich variety of characters, relationships, and dramatic stories. Playing a variety of unique characters and weaving together satisfying journeys for your heroes is my bread and butter.
