About me
Hi, my name is Duamn, I'm an Argentinian artist, TTRPG designer and forever GM. With two decades of playing RPGs, I've run dozens of games, met a myriad of players, organized gaming clubs, hosted TTRPG events, illustrated and designed games both for myself and for publishers. If there's one thing to know about me, it's that I hold a deep love for RPGs. You can count on me to teach newcomers how to play, run consistent long-term campaigns, and harness the RPG medium to tell unique stories. You can find my games at https://mrdrhobo.itch.io/ Some of my art at https://www.instagram.com/duamnnfr/ And my GMing here, at StartPlaying.games!

Creating your character
This module is designed for D&D 5E (2014). Characters will be created using the Roll20 toolset, but instructions are provided in the Discord server. Players who join early and are eager to workshop characters can post their concepts and builds on the Discord, while newcomers can complete their character at the beginning of Session 0. The campaign starts at lvl 1, with house rules implemented for recruiting new players or in case of replacing characters. Only the Player's Handbook will be used, with very small adjustments.
A minimum party of 3 is required, since the module would be too dificult otherwise. Recruiting friends to jump into the fray is welcome! We pitch and coordinate characters at the Discord server. However, newcomers can complete their character at the beginning of session 0.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
The campaign will take place in Roll20, so please create an account. We will handle video calls and organization details over Discord, so make sure you have an account created as well, and join the server by clicking the link provided on the "Preparation materials" section of the listing.
What Duamn brings to the table
Expect a Rules as Written D&D experience: but don't get it twisted, using the game rules creatively is highly encouraged. An open-ended campaign of high adventure, following the trappings of old CRPGs like the original Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights, or classic fantasy novels like Dragonlance or the Dark Elf Trilogy; larger-than-life characters, wacky adventures, might and magic. Additionally, I like rewarding characters that reach 5th level with a custom character portrait digitally drawn by me.
Homebrew rules
A list of house-rules is posted in the Discord server, however, the D&D 5E (2014) rules remain mostly unchanged, with only clarification on which variants are available, minor tweaks, and some add-ons to accomodate the open-world campaign format.
