About the adventure
Basically a mash-up of all your favorite space operas involving oppressive empires, greedy crime lords, a blossoming resistance, and a rag-tag spaceship crew who aren't suited for "normal" work and might just make a difference. The "party" inhabits an upgrade-able ship that is capable of FTL travel across the sector. So you are free to play as you are able, with your character safely resting on the ship when you need to take a break.

About me
I was first introduced to D&D 3rd Edition as a child and never stopped playing games. As someone who also enjoys board games and video games, I've found that different TTRPGs scratch different itches. My favorite games right now are Pathfinder 2e and basically anything Powered by the Apocalypse - games that support radically different play styles.

Creating your character
The First Session of the campaign will be free and include ship selection and group character creation. If you are a drop in player after the first session, character creation will be done ahead of session and be guided by me. The impacts of the group ship selection will be explained and you will be given access to notes about the group's previous adventures.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure you have a Discord and join my server: https://discord.gg/7VTs3rkWDB You will need a roll20 account to participate in this game, a game link will be provided in the Discord. The Discord will also have a space where you can interact with fellow players and access to play aids that I have permission to share for personal use. If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out in DMs or on Discord.
What Scott brings to the table
I'm a Rules as Written guy, but the rules for this game are very flexible. Key to everything is "fictional positioning" - what have we established is true in the game world, and how can it be manipulated in ways that feel plausible to everybody at the table. This game also has a mechanic to incorporate flashbacks if the group seems to be in a bind, and a way to hop right into the meat of a heist instead of spending extended periods of real time planning for details that would be impossible for the players to know - but second nature for their characters.
