About the adventure
Dahl'vatharre is a new continent discovered on the world of Iazigar. King Jasper sent an expedition 50 years ago but it never returned. now a new armada of intrepid adventurers have been set across the sea to find what happened to the missing expedition only to find a new world. Will you search for your lost compatriots or will you carve out your own destiny in this strange exotic land? Iazigar is a shared D&D campaign setting that ive run for over a decade. The world and the stories told within it are shaped by the players. The setting is open ended and a sandbox. meant for players to explore and create new stories. Friendly to players new and experienced in D&D. Come, sit at my table and let us create together!

About me
Greetings and Salutations. My name is Garret, known online as King Yaga. I'm a gamer, a nerd and most importantly I'm DEEPLY in love with TTRPGs. My first ever game was in 2006 where we played the D&D module "Against The Cult Of The Reptile God" and i was hooked. 4 years later i ran my first game Castle Amber, and I've been a GM ever since. For 16 years I've GMd hundreds of games. from long form campaigns to 1 shots to everything in between. Roleplaying is my passion and i hope that it shows with the worlds that i make.

Creating your character
Character creation will be done during a free session 0 through discord using D&D beyond before the first session. Stats will be rolled using a 4d6 drop the lowest method maintaining a score between 70 and 80. Characters will start at level 3 and all books and suppliments will be provided for character creation through D&D beyond.
i only maintain 2 character creation rules: dwarves cannot be magic casters such as wizard, sorcerer, bard and warlock. but they can be divine casters such as clerics, druids, paladins etc. dragonborn cannot be divine casters with the exception of Paladins, as dragonborn paladins have a special place in the setting.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have: Discord-i host my games through discord voice chat and ill make a custom discord server for the players a D&D beyond account-this makes character creation quick and easy especially for new players and allows me as the dm to look over your sheets easily in one place a FORGE VTT account-i run my games online through FOUNDRYVTT. FORGE is a server host for foundry that allows me to eliminate connection issues across long distances. a FORGE acct is free and takes 5 minutes to setup
What KINGYAGA brings to the table
i provide a fun, RP and COMBAT heavy campaign setting. it is a homebrew setting heavily inspired by pre existing D&D settings. my games are what i call "spaghetti fantasy" theyre silly and goofy with serious overtones. i aim to run a game that people have fun playing, where we can all laugh and have a great time. my games are for everyone over the age of 18. I care not about your race, religion, creed, gender, or who you meet in dennys parking lots at 2am on wednesday nights. all are welcome here.
Homebrew rules
Bonus Action Health potions, maximized damage critical hits doubled, i have homebrew subclasses and classes that i allow players to use.

How KINGYAGA creates a safe table
i prefer to use a consent checklist as well as discussion during session zero. also before heavier topics are discussed in campaign i like to discuss it before session and i give players an "opt out option"
