About the adventure
Welcome to Devilport, a nasty, violent and lucrative city on the shore of the Devil Sea. Devilport is a medieval dark fantasy sandbox with pirates, were-sharks, gangs, duelists, and brutal and nightmarish magic. 🔥 PLOT 🔥 From urchin to overlord. You'll start as newcomers to the city of Devilport, but soon opportunities will present themselves (paired with risks and danger). This sandbox-style campaign will allow you to rise in the city's power-hungry hierarchy. Your guile, boldness, and creativity will project you to the top, and you will eventually be able to influence the city's destiny: Crime and piracy, or legal trade and justice? 💜 SYSTEM 💜 I offer an innovative custom take on D&D that respects the game's core while adding a deeper narrative layer to it. The sophisticated narratology is based on dramatic realism and character depth, valuing role-play over mathematical crunchiness.

I'm Kels, a fantasy writer, board game creator, and your soon-to-be favorite GM (hopefully!). I started running games when I was 11 yo, and I’ve been doing it ever since, for 22 years now. Creating your character
I'll provide a Character Creation Itinerary that will help you create your character at your own pace. The Character Creation Itinerary is themed and filled with in-game choices, so you will feel like playing already. You won't need a character sheet for the first session.
