About the adventure

It is October 15th, 1950 in Boston Massachusetts. Spurned by both the mundane world and supernatural society, you find refuge in the queer walls of The Marked Collar. The Collar, an open secret of a lesbian bar, has exactly three rules: 1. No fights, no matter what. The bar serves as a safe haven in the wake of immense crackdowns on the community in mundane society and a lack of support from the supernatural. As such, the bar is neutral ground. 2. Queer people only. The paranoia is well earned, no one else can be trusted. 3. No cops. In an age of crackdowns in the name of morality, the Collar's purpose sits far beyond earning money. Nothing changes without power over those with influence and power isn't earned through polite letters. Mundane eyes don't know the half of the blood shed for change. Last Call is a mixed splat World of Darkness game telling a story that is much more in line with a Vampire style game and will be overall loosey goosey in some areas relating to lore. Not a game for those who are inflexible. That said, huge story points will come from character backstory, so inevitably your own strengths will be brought to the forefront! This is also a game specifically about a queer community in a time when that was quite secluded and secretive. As such, all player characters are expected to be queer. There will be no exceptions. There will be heavy and adult themes explored in this game. Please come prepared for this.

About me

Bulldyke GM specializing in science fiction. While every game I run has a world happening around the players, your world will be shaped by your actions, your backstories, your connections with people. The stories I run vary in themes from group to group, but every story is ultimately about the humanity of the characters, or lack thereof. You should come prepared to tell a story, come prepared to hear others tell their story. Come prepared to feel and come prepared to fight! Nazi punks fuck off.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will make characters together in a session 0, perhaps a second one should we need it. Given that we are mixing books, it'll be good for us all to learn each others mechanics together! Please come with some ideas as to what book you are interested in playing. I have access to just about any book you might like!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You'll need a discord account, I will be providing a foundry that you do not need an account for.

What SugarButch brings to the table

I'm an rp heavy gm. In this instance, I'm also very knowledgeable about the time period we're playing in, specifically relating to this culture. I embrace RP and rule of cool above all else, but I try to be sure we don't take it to game ruining extremes.

Homebrew rules

This is something we'll discuss as a table together, but thus far none.
