About the adventure
Welcome to my Angmar game! - What Kind of Game Is This? Set in the Third Age just before the War of the Ring, as shadows are beginning to stir once again. You will play as Rangers or their companions as they investigate the Ancient Evil stirring in the Dark Realm of Angmar. - Where Is Angmar? Angmar is the Fallen Realm of the Witch King, in the north of Eriador. It is a blasted, mountainous wasteland. Very cold, inhospitable. Not a very charming place. The ancient fortress of Carn Dûm exists at its core. - What is playing this game going to be like? You are going to be travelling throughout Eriador - chasing rumours, investigating the Shadow that is falling across the land. Whilst most of the action will take place focused upon Angmar, you will go to other places, with some variation from season to season. We will run mostly in Theatre Of The Mind from a large Hexcrawl Map. - What happens in each session? Travel, some combat, but mostly trying to investigate exactly what is going on in Eriador and Angmar - trying to Locate and Destroy the Dark Forces of the enemy as their plots begin to hatch. - What kind of game do you run? 90% Roleplay/Travel/Investigation and 10% Combat. I create really interesting NPCs to engage with and expect the players to roleplay throughout the session. The world feels very Alive. Combat is rare but when it happens it is extremely Perilous and Deadly. - What kind of Table Etiquette do you expect? Please just come to enjoy a really cool, really unique campaign. The game is open to anyone, even if you have no idea what The One Ring is. We will play the game in the spirit it is meant to be played in. - Will my Character die? Maybe, there is some element of danger at times in this campaign. - How long will the campaign go for? Roughly 4-5 Sessions. - What happens if I have an emergency and can't make a session? Don't worry I will not charge you or I will refund you if you have to leave mid-session, just let me know. - How long is a session? 3 Hours. A break at 1.5 hours.

Creating your character
Probably best to make a Ranger but you could make another character who is a Companion or Ally of them. We will talk during Session 0 about options and make your characters there.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You need to be able to communicate via the Discord server, for both the In-Game voice chat and also for preparing to play the game. Please ensure you have a good quality microphone, if your microphone feed is poor quality I will remove you from the game as I cannot work in that situation. The game is also hosted on Foundry VTT via The Forge, so you need a free Forge account if you want to get into it.
What Frank brings to the table
Custom Character Artwork and Maps. A Foundry VTT server will be available to be used as a Dice Roller or as a way of keeping sheets accessible - but mostly we will be in Theatre Of The Mind on a Hexcrawl Map of Middle Earth.
