About the adventure
This will be a campaign mixing roleplay and combat to teach the basics of the Fantasy Age 2e system! Set in my custom world of Elltarren, this is a high fantasy setting at a time when the moon exploded, causing tensions to rise across the continent of Crestfall. The campaign is focused in the massive, mountainous capital city of Stonehaven, rife with cults and crime, and those trying to fight back against them.

About me
Hey, howdy, hey, I'm Andrew! I've been playing TTRPGs for more than 10 years now, and I have experience playing and GMing a wide variety of games, settings and tones. I love teaching people about new games, and I look forward to seeing you at the table! If you want to see a bit more of my stuff, I do run a YouTube channel called ThatGamerAjax that has a few actual play one shots as well.
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation will begin at level 1, which will take place before the game begins. All player characters will be required to at least loosely be aware of each other, and we will use the core rulebook for building characters out. If needed, I can have pre-generated characters ready to go.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will use a combination of Discord and Roll20 for running the campaign, so you will need accounts on both.
What Andrew brings to the table
I'm the kind of GM that focuses on fun at the table above all else while teaching you the various rules of the game. While there is some crunchy combat with Fantasy Age, it's easy enough to get used to, and I'll be making combat maps for our use to keep things clear and organized. We'll have ambient music going on in the background as well, as I always find it helps the scene.

How Andrew creates a safe table
I will be sending out a Lines and Veils document that will be gone over during session 0, and incorporate a wind down at the end of every session.
