About the adventure
The Marshsalt Concord is an ever growing initiative set in my homebrew world of Klagerion, where every session is a self contained mission but no session really exists in Isolation. Take on contracts from the Concord's mission board ranging from monster hunts and investigations to heists, escorts and larger scale conflicts. Every session includes a new objective and a rotating party of heroes which means you can jump in whenever you like! Whether playing as a returning character to continue your story or a new face to the Concord there's always a place for you! Despite the drop in format your actions do still matter! The world of Klagerion evolves and changes over time, being shaped by the outcomes of missions and choices you make along the way. Your character can grow, earn rewards and become part of the wider interconnected story. All experience levels are welcome whether you've never played a table top before or if you're a veteran looking for something new. You can expect a balance of roleplay, exploration and combat! What's stopping you why not try out a session!

About me
Hi I'm Finlay! A story focused Dungeon master who enjoys immersive worldbuilding and player/character driven stories where your choices shape the world. Since 2022 I've been working on my interconnected world, with multiple campaigns and parties exploring the same world at the same time. I enjoy allowing campaigns to impact others, creating a living world that evolves as we play. I've been DMing in general since 2020, having completed 3 in person campaigns, I started with 1 party and now I'm managing 4 ongoing ones, with such a vast player base that I now even host my own yearly awards show! I have over 3000 hours on Roll20, alongside an extensive amount of in person DMing so I'm very comfortable with various formats. I am open to all kinds of players whether you're brand new or a veteran, prefer roleplay heavy sessions or lean more into the combat side of things. My overall goal is always to create a fun environment where each player feels equally involved and invested and am always open to feedback!

Creating your character
Steps for Marshsalt Character Creation 1. Contact me with an email I can use to invite you to a game on Roll20 or use the link recieved already by email 2. If you don't already have one, create a Roll20 account then accept my game invite 3. Launch my game, navigate to the journal tab, open the "Startplaying" folder then the "Marshsalt" folder, and then select one of the empty "New Character Sheets" 4. From here you can use the charactermancer to create your character! - If unsure in anyway during the process feel free to contact me 5. Homebrew is absolutely okay if you confirm it with me first! I also have rules relating to hybridising species. 6. Stats can be completed through standard array OR Roll20's built in roll for stats, if you feel these stats will hinder you too much feel free to revert back to standard array after rolling. 7. Backstory is also pretty open, the one condition is that your character must have one reason for being in the Concord! Whether its to do good, earn money or something more obscure! 8. You can write your backstory in whatever format you'd like as long as it gets sent to me, feel free to ask about the world or for help along the way.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All that's needed before we begin is for you to setup your Roll20 character and join a discord server that I'll send a link to!
What Finlay The Storyteller brings to the table
Here I'll layout in the most straightforward way a few things I do as a GM! - Use both ambient and combat music to bring players into the game - Create battle maps and tokens for every combat encounter possible - Remain open to exploration and unique approaches that I didn't expect - Incorporate multiple homebrew rules to help the game feel more engaging both in combat and roleplay - Understand a vast amount of rules but remain very willing to go with the rule of cool in most situations - Provide a vast array of character voices, accents and personalities - Overall allow vast creative freedom whilst still having a hold of the game

Safety
How Finlay The Storyteller creates a safe table
I'll provide a link to an anonymous google form which players can use to convey anything that they would not like to appear in the game judgement-free. I'll explain at the start of each session how X, N and O's can be conveyed to me digitally through messaging me privately or publicly announced if they'd like something to immediately be stopped and don't mind being open about it. After each session I'll send out another google form to get feedback on how safety was handled and ask for any improvements that could be made in that regard.
