About the adventure

Hey, let's play a short FATE campaign together, we'll make cool fantasy adventurer characters, and then send them headfirst into a wild adventure. FATE gives us a lot of control over who the characters are and what they can do, so we can go a little wild outside of the typical ancestry/class dichotomy.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will create characters together during the first session. Feel free to look at the FATE Core book, although we will be changing some of the skills.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Planning on running this on Roll20 with voice and camera through discord. I'll get you the links.

What Rodrigo brings to the table

We will make up some of the world together as part of character creation, then we'll weave all of that into the narrative. Action (and combat) in FATE is very straight forward and doesn't require super-advanced tactics, it relies on description and synergy between players.

Homebrew rules

We will probably use custom skills and custom stunts. PCs may start with fewer stunts to create a sense of progression.

Safety

How Rodrigo creates a safe table

I like XN&O, they can be said aloud, held up visually or sent to me via message. I will absolutely stop any scene that makes players uncomfortable. Also I always want to have a quick debrief to double check how everyone is doing after each session.
