About the adventure
Dreambound: Miami Nights is a Changeling: the Dreaming 20th campaign inspired by the surreal dream-horror of Dream Eater Merry. In this chronicle, Miami becomes a frontline in a hidden war between the Dreaming and the Night Realms, alien domains of nightmare forcing their way into mortal sleep. Players will uncover dream breaches across iconic Miami districts, Wynwood’s murals, Calle Ocho’s domino parks, Coconut Grove’s mansions, and the shores of Miami Beach. Each breach leads to surreal dream dungeons shaped by mortal fears, where Nightmare beings feed on hope and identity. At the center is the Neon Sovereign, a fractured monarch of the Night Realms. His lieutenants: El Mural Sin Fin, El Quemador, and La Reina de los Espejos, wage their own wars for control, forcing the changelings of Miami to decide whether to purge them, bargain with them, or risk being remade by them. Themes of hope versus despair, identity versus erasure, and cultural heritage versus consumption define this story. Miami’s vibrant dreams will either save the city, or light the path for the Sovereign’s Neon Court.

About me
Welcome, storytellers, schemers, and seekers of strange worlds! I’m a GM with 7+ years of experience crafting immersive, character driven stories across a wide variety of systems and settings. Whether you’re here for grimdark horror, noir intrigue, cosmic dread, or a chaotic romp through a world of wild adventure, I’ve got you covered. My greatest joy as a Game Master is creating a space where players feel empowered to shape the world and make bold, unforgettable choices. I’m deeply familiar with the World of Darkness in all its beautiful, brooding glory: Vampire, Mage, Hunter, Demon, Mummy, and more. From twisted political games in the night haunted cities to the haunting path of the Fallen, I know the splats, the lore, and the mechanics inside and out. But that’s just the beginning. I also run: • Dungeons & Dragons (5e & 3.5) • Pathfinder (1e & 2e) • Mutants & Masterminds • Masks: A New Generation • Blades in the Dark • Call of Cthulhu • …and a wide range of other indie and mainstream systems. If you’re curious about a system not listed, just ask. Odds are, I’ve played it, run it, or I’m game to dive in and make it happen. Tone wise, I have a strong love for dark, moody, and atmospheric stories, gothic horror, grim futures, supernatural conspiracies, but I’m just as comfortable with light hearted adventures, heists, pulp action, or comedic fantasy. I’m flexible and love collaborating with players to hit the tone you want. Mechanically, I believe in the Rule of Cool. If the dice are grinding momentum to a halt, I’ll bend things to keep the story flowing. That said, I respect the system and know when to let mechanics shine. I’m patient, open to questions, and always happy to guide newer players or offer narrative tools to veterans looking to go deeper. My tables are collaborative, inclusive, and story first. I’m big on session zero, safety tools, and making sure everyone’s voice matters, whether you’re a first time player or a decades long veteran. So if you’re looking for a GM who can: • Weave intricate plots with high stakes and rich lore • Pivot seamlessly between horror, humor, and heroism • Support your character’s personal journey while keeping the table engaged • And offer a professional, reliable, and player focused experience. Then let’s tell a damn good story together.

Creating your character
Players may choose from a range of roles within the Dreaming. Traditional changelings, the Kithain of Seelie and Unseelie courts, form the backbone of the campaign. Each court views the Nightmare war differently: the Seelie see it as a duty to protect mortal dreams, while the Unseelie view it as an opportunity to harness new powers born from fear. Alternatively, players can take on the mantle of “Chimera Made Flesh”, such as Meri Yumehara, a dream being stranded in the mortal world. These “Lost Wanderers” possess immense potential but lack true connection to the Dreaming, surviving instead on mortal belief. Kinain, mortals with fae blood, may serve as Dream Anchors or mortal investigators whose own nightmares spark the story. Optional characters, such as Nunnehi or changelings tied to Miami’s rich cultural traditions, bring depth and local authenticity, blending fae myth with Caribbean, Cuban, and Haitian folklore. Mechanically, players are encouraged to invest in backgrounds that root them in Miami’s vibrant community: Dream, Resources, Contacts, and Freehold are particularly important. Arts that interact with emotion and symbolism, such as Oneiromancy, Chicanery, Sovereign, and Primal, will be especially powerful in this chronicle. Above all, the characters must embody the delicate balance between Glamour and Banality, hope and despair, that defines Miami’s dreamscape.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
To join the story, players will need a Roll20 account for digital maps and mechanics, and Discord with a working microphone for communication. This chronicle blends high fantasy with psychological horror, so players should come prepared to engage with both the beautiful and the unsettling. Miami’s dreams are vibrant, but they hide dark undercurrents, some scenes may challenge comfort zones through emotional intensity, surrealism, or horror elements. As long as players are ready to explore the tension between the wondrous and the nightmarish, they will find Dreambound: Miami Nights an unforgettable journey.
What Silas the Endless brings to the table
As the Storyteller, I will provide a fully realized vision of Miami’s Dreaming, blending the city’s energy with the poetic melancholy of Changeling. Each district is alive with magical potential and cultural flavor: Wynwood’s freehold glows with shifting graffiti, Little Havana shelters dream vigilantes who worship at domino tables, Coconut Grove’s sidhe hold glittering masquerades, and the shoreline hides the restless Glass Siren beneath its waves. I’ll deliver complete antagonist profiles and encounters for every stage of the campaign, from the eerie Masked Collector to the Sovereign’s lieutenants and finally the Sovereign himself, each fully statted, narratively rich, and visually distinct. Custom dream battles, immersive art, and stylized handouts will guide each session. I’ll also weave factional intrigue through freeholds and mortal alliances, ensuring every decision carries consequence. This chronicle will evolve with the players, moving from episodic nightmare investigations to a climactic confrontation for Miami’s very soul.

How Silas the Endless creates a safe table
Because Dreambound: Miami Nights delves into dream horror, emotional vulnerability, and themes of identity and fear, safety and comfort come first. The campaign begins with a Session 0 to establish tone, boundaries, and player expectations. Lines and Veils will define what content remains off limits or fade to black. Breaks will occur at the midpoint of every session for rest and decompression. An Open Door Policy allows any player to step away at any time without justification, and each session will close with Aftercare, a brief debriefing period to reflect, ground, and end play safely. These tools ensure that while the story may explore darkness, the table itself remains a place of trust and collaboration.
