About the adventure
This adventure is for anyone but it is tailored to give newer players an easy entry to playing. This adventure is focused more on exploration in the woods and combat. Some tactics will be needed and combats could be deadly with the wrong party. There's no leveling up in this adventure and once you leave town you'll only have what you bring with you and what you can find along the way. Can you save the people of Woodsberry from their frightening fate?

About me
I started GMing in 2018 for my friends shortly before moving across the country to LA. We maintained our weekly game for 6-ish years taking a week off here and there. I've only run D&D but I've played in D&D 5e, Mutants and Masterminds, Exalted 2e, Dresden Files and an insane World of Darkness mash up. I've run modules in the past but I've been writing my own campaign and making my own maps. I'm excited to share those with others and get feedback as well. I feel a nervousness doing this that's similar to when I first started GMing. Since my last campaign finished I've just been playing in games and running one-shots here and there. Now I'm pushing myself out of my comfort zone and into the world to try and bring some joy to others.

Creating your character
There will be a free session zero where we will discuss and create characters on Roll20. The adventure is for 3 to 5 level 3 characters using official D&D 5e materials. Stats will use the standard array or point buy if preferred.

What Anthony Johnson (Darth Piggyus) brings to the table
I'll have some ambient music and sounds playing for different scenes and maps to change in between them to try and give a good feeling for the space. I'm fairly Rules as Written but that doesn't mean the Rule of Cool can't win out sometimes, it just all depends on the situation.
Homebrew rules
Silvery Barbs is a 2nd level spell. Drinking a potion is a Bonus Action, using it on another character is an Action

Everyone will receive a link to the Lines and Veils document to download, fill out and return to me. In session zero and go over the responses I got. We'll also build characters together and get to know each other a bit as well as the story. X, N and O's may be communicated in the discord channel through text but verbal announcement can be done if you feel the need is urgent. These aren't set in stone either if you want to change something during the game that allowed.
