About me
Mostly GMing for the last 30 years, I've had more ideas than I could ever get to the table. Hopefully, this will be a chance to get a few of them out of my head! I tend towards story-focused games that incorporate player input and plot threads, ranging from comedic tones to horrific ones. A student of myth, history, and true crime, I try to layer in some of the complexities that show up more in reality than in most published games - the forces of good and evil trend more towards the gray spaces in between, even the worst villains may have the best of motivations, and people are shaped by their pasts as much as their place in the story. I find it's a mindset that helps give a bit more depth to the world, and makes things feel a little more epic when done right.

Creating your character
Character creation will be handled through Foundry and the online resources available during Session 0.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need accounts on Discord and the Forge, both available for free. They will need voice chat capability and a working internet setup.
What Jason Leisemann brings to the table
I'm an experienced GM who provides a well-stocked play space, music tracks, and visual resources. I know how to work in original material when it's appropriate, and am very familiar with the genre and setting. I err on the side of what seems to be the most fun for the most people at the table.
Homebrew rules
The homebrew rules that will be in play will depend on player interest in incorporating them, but tend to lean in on giving the players an opportunity to experiment more with the systems.

How Jason Leisemann creates a safe table
The first part of everybody having fun is everybody being comfortable at the table. Virtual X/N/O cards are anonymously available, or the GM can be contacted in private to handle issues without having to confront other players. While I don't use formal line/veil setups, I do discuss these issues at Session 0 to find the comfort levels of players.
