Ten Candles: A storytelling game of Tragic Horror by Stephen Dewey These things are true. The world is dark. And we are alive. Ten Candles is a tragic horror time-based cooperative storytelling game through which you will tell the story of a dark world and those who fall victim to it. This game is meant to embody the hope that arises in tragic situations, the lengths one will go to survive the unsurvivable. It is also an amazing tool for learning about players' ability to participate in narrative control and to expand role-playing skills. The standard setting for Ten Candles is in the middle of a sunless apocalypse. But I hope to provide alternative settings centered on some of my favorite horror tropes and stories.
