About the adventure
A grim-dark high fantasy game, that focuses on the corruption of magic across the realm and the effects it has on the various factions of the world. Perfect for one-shots and shorter campaigns, I've been running games in this setting using a homebrew version of the Candela Obscura system featured in Critical Role. Its easy to learn and very flexible, giving players a lot of narrative space and allowing for great roleplay and exciting action set pieces with real stakes! Your character will encounter deadly levels of difficulty, injuries and stresses that take their toll and help to mold your character as you play. Scheduling can be flexible depending on the players, with the set start times just a recommendation. Beginners to TTRPGs are welcome, the system is rules-light and so can be less overwhelming than jumping directly into 5e. However it's great for roleplay veterans as it allows a ton of flexibility and freedom to collaborate on the story.

I'm a forever DM that has been running games for around 10 years. I mainly focus on DND 5E, but i've dabbled in various other TTRPG systems. I'm passionate about teaching the game and love starting new campaigns and one-shots with brand new players to get them started. Creating your character
Character Creation is done with a custom system, so we'll discuss through discord and create your characters there. Character creation is highly flexible, with no set classes, certain factions seperate the world but players are free to riff on any of the themes and create a truly unique character within the system!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need is discord, a webcam and a mic. Since it's a custom system, we'll run character sheets through roll20 using their Candela Obscura templates, but I can help with all the setup if you haven't used it before.
What Krimson brings to the table
A rules-light, exciting, tense and sometimes deadly campaign. Expect difficult and dangerous problem-solving and the freedom to approach things as you want to. This will be a theatre of the mind campaign, using music, detailed description and expressive NPC voicing to set the scenes. The system allows for a ton of flexibility and creativity and creates great roleplaying opportunities mixed with adrenaline fuelled set pieces.
