About the adventure
"Empire of Glass" is a brand new level 8-16 campaign in the Spelljammer setting. This is a completely original adventure written by the Dungeon Master. We are playing the 2024 version of D&D with content allowed from older books. Over 10,000 years ago a group called the Yuir Elves hid themselves away from the rest of Toril, horrified by the constant warfare and barbarity of their fellow men. The Yuir Elves created a pocket dimension, their own secret world that mirrored the Material Plane they came from, but with fantastic buildings made of enchanted glass stretching into the skies. They called their new world Sildëyuir. A renowned Yuirwood scholar has approached you with a shocking revelation: he claims to know the entrance to Sildëyuir itself. Curiously, it requires a Spelljammer ship to enter, so he has hired your and your crew to join him on an expedition into the legendary lost realm... This mind-bending adventure will take you across the stars, uncovering the ancient secrets of a mysterious empire lost to time. Each character starts with 100 gp, the standard equipment associated with their background, and either 1 very rare magic item and 1 uncommon magic item or 2 rare magic items. These items should be selected from the 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide. We play the game RAW but you are welcome to use 3rd party character options with approval by the GM. No character options are banned. All spells, subclasses, races, & backgrounds from the following publishers/settings are allowed: • Kobold Press • Dungeon Dudes • Humblewood • Crooked Moon • Ghostfire Gaming Additional game details: • Animated spells and weather effects. • High-resolution maps and tokens. • Voice acting for NPCs. • Ambient soundscapes and pulse-pounding music. • Hosted on Foundry for gameplay, Discord for voice chat. Webcam optional. • Deep and interactive environment with lots of sandbox gameplay potential. • Discord used to chat with group members in between sessions. • Beginner-friendly, but always expect a challenge.

About me
Stop worrying about schedule issues, and start having fun! This tabletop community is LGBTQ+ friendly and supportive. I have a BA in creative writing and worked as a professional writer for years before committing to being a full-time Game Master. Running fun games is my passion, and I love to immerse myself in the lore of the worlds we inhabit together. I offer a premium experience with animations, high-resolution maps, voice acting, and a committed GM who takes the time to integrate your character into the world. I am generally a rules-as-written GM but I love to reward creative solutions and problem solving. You can expect that I will stick to the rulebook, especially in a combat scenario. I take a hard stance against generative A.I. for in-game content. Some game listings may use generated art, but all stories and encounters are personally designed by me without the assistance of A.I. prompts.

How David Lindsay creates a safe table
This game has strong cosmic horror themes and body horror elements. Session 0 will address possible triggers for each player. We take a 5-10 minute break about halfway through the session. Sessions tend to be combat heavy when following the official adventures, but with lots of room to roleplay and improvise. I pride myself in my ability to run "sandbox" style gameplay where the possibilities are endless, and your decisions have an impact on the world around you.
