About the adventure
In the Cosmic Theatre of Eridos, on the material plane, on the continent of Ardour, lies the coastal city of Ocean Falls. A critical trading hub for the surrounding region, protected to the north and east by ancient stone walls towering over 50 feet, and a small fleet, under the command of General Indra Shadow, to the west and south. Most recently reports of increases in missing person have been circulating, only for these individuals to reappear a few days later, with no memory of their disappearance, and no worse for wear. Normally the goings on of Ocean Falls may have escaped your notice, but someone you know has recently gone missing in Ocean Falls after sending you a letter requesting your helping in solving this mystery.

About me
Well, I've been DM'ing Since 2015, only a year after 5e debuted. Like with most things I started on some loose footings and made many mistakes. I've since learned from those mistakes and have been Playing, DM'ing, and Homebrewing for over a decade now. Comfortable with groups 3-6 players.

Creating your character
This campaign will be starting at Level 1. Character Creation will use the Point Buy system or Standard Array. Most official and partnered sources allowed, more on that during Session 0.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Accounts with Discord and Roll20.
What Dez brings to the table
* While not a Voice Actor I will do voices for a majority of the characters. * Music will be use for Combat Encounters to assist in the tone. * Combat will be more fluid in its difficulty and intensity. If the party isn't challenged by previous combat, I will attempt to make it more, threatening. If a previous combat encounter was too dangerous, I may dial it back for the next. * While not adverse to the Rule of Cool, I do tend to lean closer to Rules as Written and Spirit of the Rules. * So long as everyone is ok with it, Sessions will be audio recorded for the groups benefit. Everyone will be given a copies of the recording and can review these for note keeping and refreshing on previous sessions.
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion is a bonus action. Glancing Blow, if an attack roll matches a target's AC(Armor Class), but does not exceed it, deal half damage.

How Dez creates a safe table
For Player Comfort and Safety, everything will be open to discussion. Not happy with something that happened in the most recent session, I'll be more than happy to talk about it after the session and see about working on how to make future sessions more accommodating. There will be a Pre-Campaign Consent Form to determine what the collective group is not comfortable with. This is supposed to be fun for everyone involved, if someone is bothered or disturbed by something that has happened, we'll talk about it and how to reduce or remove said issues moving forward.
