About the adventure

Explore islands and set sail in search of treasure! In Jewel of the Indigo Isles you accept a quest to find an ancient and legendary treasure, but simply finding the "X" and digging up a chest full of booty would be far too simple and almost no fun at all! There are plenty of adventures to have during your quest. Play as a pirate, treasure hunter, or whatever sort of adventurer you like in a strange world where sapient parrots, intelligent coral colonies, and dragons are all very capable of becoming adventurers. Enjoy a fresh voyage that uses the Pathfinder 2e rules, but in a new world that has an unique bestiary for you to outwit, charm, and battle. And after each fight ends, you can even be able repurpose the horns and hides you find into a new monstrous arsenal. Jewel of the Indigo Isles is a third-party adventure path that takes characters from level 1 to 11. Being a non-official adventure path it should be a novel experience for seasoned players and novices alike.

About me

Hi! I'm Cloud Draxie, GM, artist, and overall tabletop and board game enthusiast. As a GM and as player, I value the fun of everyone at the table and support the cooperative nature of TTRPGs. I require my entire table to be LGBTQ+ friendly. I also require that the party be a team in and out of character, meaning there is normally no PvP or stealing from other PCs in my games. My main games are Pathfinder 2nd edition and Upwind, but I like to learn and try out new games too. I enjoy telling stories with my players and challenging them with tough but winnable encounters. I learned game master largely in online settings, so I am quite comfortable running sessions over voice chat and on virtual tabletops, namely Discord and Foundry VTT. Because I always like to have a unique representation of my own characters and understand that some of my players feel the same, I can offer to draw personal little portraits to be used as player tokens in my games that last more than a few sessions.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will begin after session 0 when we can all discuss party cohesion to make sure everyone gets to play a character they like. Players will then have a week to finalize characters before session 1. Standard character creation rules will be used per the Player Core book. Standard and alternate boosts are allowed, and any uncommon ancestry, heritage, and class are allowed. Rare need approval. Free Archetype will be used, and the use of Gradual Ability Boosts will be up to the group. Being a third-party adventure, more options will be available to players, including those not directly related to the adventure such as other Battlezoo books, Team+ books, Sinclair's Library, and a few others.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will need a good quality microphone and a computer with access to a web browser (mobile devices will not work). Players should also read through the character creation section of the player's guide, which can be found online or in the Discord once you join.

What Cloud Draxie brings to the table

I will bring the virtual tabletop and all the necessary materials to have an enjoyable game. I can also offer to draw sketches of the player characters if they wish.

Homebrew rules

Various third-party options are available or even encouraged for this campaign. Variant rules will be discussed and decided on at session 0.
