About the adventure
Under raging storm clouds, a lone figure stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. The vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stares down a sheer cliff at the village below. A cold, bitter wind spins dead leaves about him, billowing his cape in the darkness. Lightning splits the clouds overhead, casting stark white light across him. Strahd turns to the sky, revealing the angular muscles of his face and hands. He has a look of power—and of madness. His once handsome face is contorted by a tragedy darker than the night itself. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind's howling increases as Strahd turns his gaze back to the village. Far below, yet not beyond his ken, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd's face forms a twisted smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knows why they have come—all according to his plan. He, the master of Ravenloft, will attend to them. Another lightning flash rips through the darkness, its thunder echoing through the castle's towers. But Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind—or perhaps a lone wolf—fills the midnight air. The master of Ravenloft is having guests for dinner. And you are invited. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello and welcome. Creating your character
We will have a Session 0 to discuss and make sure everyone has an understanding of what they are doing. We will be able to get everyone's character together and prepare one backup character just in case. A backup character allows you to really play the character you create without the pressure of wanting to not do something they would do, just to keep that character alive. We are leveling by Milestone, use point buy for your stats. Average health, basic equipment unless you take the gold value. If you are looking to buy gear before we start session 1 then let me know the list and you are fine. Make sure to gather some character art so that I can make your tokens and set them up. DM me any questions you have and All of 5E official materials is available for you to choose from.

You will need the following: A Discord account : https://discord.com/ A Roll 20 Account : https://roll20.net/ At least a good Mic w/ optional Webcam if they would like. A Good stable internet connection is required. Need to answer messages from the dm and follow any instructions sent. Anything else that you would like to bring to the table

How Brian creates a safe table
Here are the rules for my game sessions. Please read them carefully before joining the game. Be respectful to other players and the Dungeon Master. Communicate clearly and effectively with your fellow players. Follow the rules of the game as outlined in the Player's Handbook. Have fun and be creative with your character and actions! Additional Rules and Regulations / Legalities If you have any questions or need help please ask. Session 0 covers character creation and the ruleset, so don’t feel pressured. Also, agreeing to continue forward is to agree to the following rules: Lines Sex can be discussed but not described in detail. Behavior that causes discomfort is not allowed. No discrimination. Transphobia, homophobia, biphobia, racism, xenophobia, etc. are grounds for removal. Everyone plays together; it is a shared story. The DM has final say; feedback is welcome, but decisions are final. No non-consensual/unplanned PvP. No meta-gaming (character knowledge vs player knowledge must stay separated). Veils Player hijinks in-character are okay. Humor is allowed in the same spirit as a comedy club—after consent in session 0.
