About the adventure

Vecna: Eve of Ruin is a high-level, multiverse-spanning adventure that takes you across worlds, planes, and legendary locations as a growing threat begins to ripple through reality itself. This campaign stays true to the core story and structure of the module, offering an epic journey filled with powerful enemies, dangerous mysteries, and choices that carry real weight. However, this is not a static experience. The multiverse allows for variation—events may unfold differently, situations may evolve based on your actions, and the story is not locked into a single path. Whether you’re new to the adventure or familiar with it, you’ll find a game that feels alive, responsive, and shaped by the party at the table. My GM style is narrative-driven and player-focused. I aim to create a cinematic experience where roleplay, combat, and exploration all have meaningful impact. I respect the source material, but I also leave room for organic moments, creative solutions, and player decisions to influence how the story develops. Expect a balance of challenging encounters, character-driven storytelling, and opportunities to leave your mark on the worlds you visit. This game is ideal for players who enjoy high-level play, epic stakes, and a mix of structure and freedom. If you want to experience a legendary D&D campaign while still having the agency to shape how it unfolds, this table is for you.

About me

Greetings, adventurers. I’m Luvac Zantor. By day I’m a Senior Systems Engineer and a part time musician. By night I run story driven, immersive tabletop campaigns built around your characters and choices. I’ve been in TTRPGs since my pre teen years, starting with Basic Dungeons and Dragons and moving through AD and D, 3.5, 4e, 5e, and more. I have also run Cyberpunk, Heroes Unlimited, Marvel Super Heroes, and Star Wars D6. I bring decades of table experience, strong prep, and a collaborative style that keeps the game moving while staying focused on the story. In my games you can expect: • Immersive storytelling that stays centered on your character’s goals and decisions • Vivid worldbuilding with clear tone, strong atmosphere, and meaningful detail • Tactical combat that is fair, challenging, and paced to stay fun • Roleplay that rewards creativity and gives every player space to matter New players are welcome. Veterans are welcome. I keep the table friendly, the expectations clear, and the sessions focused on momentum and payoff. If you want a game with strong narrative, real choices, and moments that feel earned, you will fit in here. Let’s roll.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters are built using DnD Beyond, then imported into Foundry for play. I’m happy to help with character creation, integration, and making sure your character fits both the party and the current point in the story. Starting Level: High-level play (we’ll match the current party level) Stats: Standard array, point buy, or rolled stats (rolling must be done with me present) Class & Species: Subject to approval to ensure balance and fit within the campaign Allowed Content: Official 5e content (UA/homebrew by approval) Starting Equipment: Basic mundane equipment, with magic items allowed based on level (subject to approval) Once you join, I’ll work with you to integrate your character into the ongoing narrative so you feel like a natural part of the story from the start.

What Luvac Zantor brings to the table

🎭 What I Provide I run a narrative-driven, cinematic game that balances roleplay, exploration, and meaningful combat. You can expect a world that reacts to your choices, where your actions influence how the story unfolds across the multiverse. 🎙️ Immersive roleplay with character voices, distinct NPC personalities, and engaging interactions 🎵 Custom soundscapes using Syrinscape, along with curated and custom-crafted music to enhance tone and immersion 🗺️ High-quality maps from Patreon creators, Forgotten Adventures, and custom-built maps using professional asset packs ⚔️ Dynamic, tactical combat that is challenging without slowing the flow of the game 🎬 Cinematic storytelling focused on memorable moments, character arcs, and player-driven outcomes I take a hands-on approach to crafting the game experience, building and customizing assets to fit the story. I also use AI tools as part of my workflow—for efficiency, enhancement, and research—while maintaining full creative control over everything that appears at the table. I aim to strike a balance between Rules as Written and Rule of Cool—the mechanics matter, but great ideas and creative solutions are always encouraged. 🧠 My Approach as a GM Your choices matter and can shape the direction of the story. The world is responsive, not scripted, and I work to ensure players feel like their actions have real impact. I respect the source material while allowing flexibility where it enhances the experience, and I support both experienced players and newcomers alike. My goal is to create a game that feels epic, immersive, and collaborative, where everyone at the table has a chance to shine.

Homebrew rules

⚖️ Homebrew Rules I primarily use standard 5e rules. I may allow for flexibility in certain situations to support pacing, cinematic moments, and creative play. Common adjustments may include: ✨ Rule of Cool rulings when it enhances the experience 🧪 Potions may be used more flexibly depending on the situation ⚔️ Minor rulings to keep combat flowing smoothly All rulings are applied consistently and with player experience in mind.

Safety

How Luvac Zantor creates a safe table

🛡️ Safety & Comfort Player comfort and safety are important at my table. I aim to create a respectful, inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the game. Before play, we’ll go over any lines and veils as needed, and I encourage players to communicate any boundaries or concerns—either privately or as a group. During the game, players can pause or redirect content at any time using an X, N, & O system (via chat or voice), and I will always respect those signals without question. I also check in with players as needed and make adjustments to ensure everyone is comfortable. My goal is for the table to feel collaborative, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone involved.
