About the adventure
FIST is a game of supernatural mercenaries, taking the jobs no one else wants. In this supernatural take of the Cold War you're fighting against militias, mech and psychics alike. In FIST you're usually outnumbered, underfunded and easily killed. So your mercs need to use guile, dirty tactics and the couple of tools your have on you. FIST is inspired by Metal Gear Solid, The A-Team, and Doom Patrol. It's mechanically descended from John Harper's World of Dungeons, Ben Milton's Maze Rats, and Offworlders, by Chris P. Wolf and Olivia Gulin. It only takes a couple of minutes to make a FIST merc, and even less time to jump into a game.

About me
I have been playing TTRPGs for almost a decade and have been active as a GM for about seven years. New to professional GMing. I have a wide experience of a variety of games and settings and pride myself in my ability in quick improvisations and large scale collaborative storytelling with a great focus on player's wishes and input.

What thecarrotclarinet // Matteo brings to the table
FIST is a game of tactical options, but not in the same way as something like Dungeons and Dragons. There are no maps beyond those that give players a rough idea of their surroundings. The best way games like FIST work is through constant asking of questions, and thinking about the surroundings your characters are in to gain the upper hand. The solutions are not on your character sheet, but in the game of the world itself.

How thecarrotclarinet // Matteo creates a safe table
We'll have a session 0 where we go over the Lines and Veils, which I'll keep on a document that can be reviewed and edited at any time. After a session we'll take 10 or so minutes to debrief, give our Stars and Wishes and make sure everyone's in a good mindset for the rest of the day.
