About the adventure
Dragon of Icespire Peak is the perfect campaign for new players! Come in at LVL 1, explore the little town of Phandalin, pick a quest from the job board... it's easy! Grow in strength whilst building story and forming bonds with your companions. Someday, you will be strong enough to face Cryovane the White Dragon! The game will be RP-heavy with particular attention paid to religion, politics, mystery and intrigue. We will strive to collaborate and tell a story. This is not a hack-and-slash campaign! If that all sounds like fun, step up and roll initiative!

About me
Sir Robb of House Doe is a dungeonmaster from southern New Hampshire. He has been running popular games on Roll20.com for close to a decade. A graduate from Chester College of New England, Robb has a bachelor’s degree in creative writing with a minor in theater. With experience in storytelling, improv, acting and comedy, he has created multiple campaigns in homebrew settings, drawing on inspiration from many sources and providing games for the public. His games have a dark and serious tone with a stress on survival, a focus on roleplay, and a willingness to dig deep into topics like religion, politics, philosophy, and the moral implications of the decisions his characters make.

Creating your character
Character sheets are created on Roll20 using the Charactermancer. We will do this together during our first session! Here is a look at our character creation rules: CHARACTERS WILL START @ LVL 1 BOOKS: PHB, EK, XGE, MMoM NO TINY CHARACTERS, NO LARGE CHARACTERS STANDARD ARRAY, STANDARD CLASS EQUIPMENT GOLD WILL BE BASED PURELY ON BACKGROUND NO EVIL CHARACTERS. PERIOD. IF A BOOK IS NOT LISTED AMONG OUR ACCEPTED BOOKS, IT IS NOT ACCEPTED.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord account and a Roll20 account. Both are free. You will need a way to provide good audio for the game, be it a dedicated mic, a headset, or a very quiet room. You will need a laptop or something decent on which to run the game. And you will need a good attitude, a willingness to roleplay, and the strength to persevere through many trials on your way to the top!
What Sir Robb of House Doe brings to the table
I will provide the necessary books and materials, good quality maps, undying enthusiasm, my knowledge of history and lore, and all the tools which I have gathered over the years. Game will include ambient music, API and visual effects, solid character development, the "rule of cool," and everything else one would expect from an immersive D&D experience!
