About the adventure

In the embers of a shattered star empire, war is the one constant. This is BattleTech, where towering BattleMechs stride across blasted continents and the fate of worlds is decided by nerve, steel, and calculated risk. Set in the tumultuous centuries of the Succession Wars and beyond, the Inner Sphere burns with dynastic ambition, corporate intrigue, and desperate frontier survival. Noble Houses clash, mercenary companies sell their loyalty to the highest bidder, and every jump into a contested system may change the balance of power forever. The year is 3025 and you are a member of Posey's Knights, a mercenary company run by an aging Federated Suns exile. You have accepted a contract from a corporation to secure a landing zone for a science expedition to the planet called Knutstand. The company is providing lift for the 3 lances of the company and it's attached infantry platoon. This campaign uses a lifepath style character creation meaning your MechWarrior didn’t simply appear in a cockpit they earned it. You may have washed out of a House military academy, survived a disastrous posting on a Periphery world, or clawed your way up from astech to pilot through grit and battlefield luck. Your past matters. Terms of service, rivalries, mishaps, and hard-won skills shape not only who you are, but what you bring to the company when the autocannons start firing. The theme is grounded military science fiction: duty versus profit, loyalty versus survival. Expect tense combined arms engagements, battlefield command decisions with real consequences, and the constant pressure of maintenance costs, salvage rights, and political entanglements. Combat will be dangerous and deliberate. Logistics matter. Reputation matters more. This game is for players who enjoy tactical depth, character driven military drama, and watching a unit grow from a struggling lance to a name whispered across the Inner Sphere. Whether you are a disgraced noble seeking redemption, a career soldier chasing one last contract, or a Periphery born pilot with something to prove, there is always another war waiting and your mech is fueled and ready.
