About the adventure
In The Moonlit Heist, you will play as agents of the Harpers, a secretive network of spies and heroes working to keep dangerous magic out of the wrong hands. Your handler has instructed you to secure a sacred Selûnite relic from a temple in the wizard city of Longsaddle - quietly, discreetly, and before rival factions realize its importance. Whether you prefer clever roleplay, problem-solving, or tactical combat, this adventure offers multiple ways to approach each challenge. You’ll infiltrate a mystical temple, navigate enchanted halls, and uncover ancient secrets tied to legendary events in the Sword Coast. Along the way, you’ll face social encounters, magical obstacles, and a climactic confrontation that tests your teamwork and creativity. The adventure is designed to be welcoming to new players, with clear goals, flexible solutions, and guidance to help you learn the game as you play. This one-shot serves as a cinematic prequel to Lost Mine of Phandelver, but no prior knowledge is required. Expect a blend of heist tension, fantasy intrigue, and heroic action in a compact, story-driven session - perfect for beginners and veterans alike who want a memorable, character-driven introduction to Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition.

About me
=== Sick Games === My name is Marcus. I've been GM-ing games for about 15 years. I started with D&D and soon after I started playing other TTRPGs. I love tailoring player experiences and providing unexpected narrative pay-offs. I do my best to balance roleplay, tactics, and player characters' personal stories. I offer tables that prioritize mutual respect, well-balanced gameplay, and tailor-made experiences. My past players say my games are immersive and evenly paced; I do my best to make sessions feel cinematic. I expect players at my tables to be respectful, curious, and willing to engage with the story.

Creating your character
Create a level 1 character using the rules and options in the 2024 Player's Handbook and official source books. There will also be a handful of pre-made characters to choose from.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Read chapter 1 of the 2024 Player's Handbook and join the discord server: https://discord.gg/snWSr4SxaR You should have a headset and a decent microphone.
What Sick brings to the table
I fully embrace the use of character voices, but I don't expect players to do so. I stick to the rules as written for the most part, but will veer into the rule of cool when it appropriately serves the narrative. Combat will be intense, but fair - although it is possible to get in over your heads if you're reckless.
