About the adventure
Welcome to your last year at 'Gensouteki Prefecture High School' You and your classmates are preparing to enjoy your last year at school, when unexpected attacks by mystical monsters threaten to disrupt the school year and worst of all, the festivals and events you all had planned! But a strange purple cat appears just in time to grant you the power to change all that, allowing magical transformations into heros who might just save the world! (and your classmates if there is time.) GAME SETTING: A Fictional School in a fictional city version of Tokyo, Japan. This Campaign will feature anime style elements and high school drama, paired with monster invasions and battles agains monologuing villians and their henchmen!

About me
"Welcome adventurers to a place of infinite worlds, unknown tales, and forgotten lore. Perhaps you will be the one to uncover it?" My name is Nichi, and I am the Dungeon Master who will take you on endless journeys through the lost places of combined imagination. I have been running games for over 15 years, starting with my friends when we were just teenagers, and extending to a 60 member in person, weekly D&D club at my University, and now establishing a D&D Club with 80-100 attending, in person, every week, for 50 weeks of the year, and running for over 3 years in Brisbane Australia at our local Pub. I also run livestream campaigns for two groups weekly which now have more than 50 episodes and involve deep emotional storytelling, along with shorter series with comical or themed events. All my games are run within deep worlds, that my players describe as "full" "engaging" and "expansive" and I pride myself on delivering an incredible experience for all my players that is unique to every group. Creating your character
CHARACTERS: Any race and class is fine but you will all present as 'Humans' in the game, with the race chosen presenting as abilities and features lightly rather than more severely different in appearance. STARTING LEVEL: Start at level 3, and can be pre rolled and set up in D&D Beyond or on Paper. Remember you are High School Seniors so your skills and abilities will represent that. (Your Exams will matter too!) [Your Magical transformations will also effect this but that will be discussed later] EQUIPMENT: We will deal with equipment as it is things you find around school, but this will also be changed when you unlock your powers and magical transformations!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A Discord Profile is required I will send a survey with questions required for the Campaign and the Running/Operations required and can help set everything up. A discussion around any X_Cards, or Veils/Lines. Normally these can be shared annonymously with myself.
What Nicholas Stanton-Cook brings to the table
Expect this game to develop as you discover your new powers, and the enemies you will be facing try to disrupt your lives and destroy the city. Lots of light fun and villainous monologues, and High School Anime drama. Voices acted for NPCs and mysteries both in your school life and hero personas. The game will be fully produced with animations, character profiles and sound/visual effects through OBS. The Game will be run through OBS Virtual Camera and shown to the players through a private Discord Channel. (If all players agree) We will record the Game with ambient music an d sound effects and everyone will get a copy (If all players agree) We can post the sessions to Youtube so they can be shared more openly with Family/Friends/The World (If all players agree) We can Livestream the game on Twitch and allow viewers to effect the game in real time through free time based interactions.
Homebrew rules
All players will have 2 character sheets. one for their High School Character and another for their Magical Persona (School Character will be weakened, and Magical Character will be stronger) This will be discussed in Session Zero pre campaign chats. I am a believer in The Rule Of Cool! If there is a good narrative reason why that fun thing you want to do should work, then we are going for it!

How Nicholas Stanton-Cook creates a safe table
We will have discussions on Discord, both before, and after games as well as between games, including text based RPs if the players/DM wants to have them. Any isses can be brought to myself directly in confidence and I will discuss any issues before or during games if content needs to be changed. Any content that one player does not feel comfortable with, will be removed or changed and if required, all players will be told in provate to avoid that content.
