About me

Have you found yourself saying one of these things lately about TTRPGs? 🤵 "I've always wanted to try tabletop role-playing games." 🤵 "I'm having fun but I'm looking for something next-level!" 🤵 "Looking to jump back into it, not quite sure which campaign to go for." Look no further. Hello! 👋 I'm Adam Hayes. I'm the professional DM you've been looking for. As a talented actor, and musician - I bring your characters to life through music and voices to fully immerse you into the game. That's just the tip of the iceberg though - I specialize in interweaving your characters goals, motivations and wishes into the game, creating a custom narrative where you are in control of your own destiny. Needless to say, it will cater to your own interests. I bring my varied background in story-telling mediums to the table, giving you deep character development, tense and difficult moments, and most of all a friendly and engaging atmosphere where we can all relax and forget about our worries for a few hours per week. The cherry on top is that I have a beginner friendly and inclusive style, where I help you get up to scratch with the rules in an adaptable pace so you feel like you would fit right in. I also bring a little something new for veterans to - weaving twists and new turns to challenge the ways of old and keep you on your toes. Interested? Book a session today. It's your game, your way.

Character creation

Creating your character

Players will be asked to create level 1 characters before session one begins. This may be on, or even before, session zero subject to individual availability. Discord chat will be open for individuals to discuss their character options, as well as a players guide to highlight appropriate and thematically consistent character options. Characters will ultimately end up on FoundryVTT, but may be created any how you are currently comfortable with. My reccomendation is Pathbuilder, which has a export mode via JSON to FoundryVTT - a quick message away from porting your character over!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will require (all mandatory, all free) - Discord - An account on The Forge (website for hosting FoundryVTT) - A microphone You may wish to have: - An account on pathbuilder A camera is not required.

What Adam Hayes brings to the table

Ultimately, I like to provide everything that will give players the opportunity to forget about the troubles of life and immerse themselves in a mythical world with epic adventures. To this extent I do the following; - Character voices - Ambient music, both mine and premade - Character combat that is appropriate for your party level, strength and your proficiency with the PF2E combat system - Primarily rule of cool (generally as long as you ask me I am okay with pretty much anything) - An open door policy where you can talk to me about any troubles you are having about the game or in general.

Homebrew rules

This campaign will be using the Eldamon classes, a way to channel elemental powers into cute creatures, or embody them yourself. Read up about Monster Parts here: https://pf2easy.com/?id=19417 PDFs and FoundryVTT journals, as well as a basic introduction, will be provided to all players to help them get famailiar with both rule sets!

Safety

How Adam Hayes creates a safe table

Safety is primarily done through extensive discussion at session zero and an open doors policy. Before session zero starts every player will have a form messaged to them to answer a questionnaire in the Monte Cooke RPG Consent Sheet held on Google Forms. The answers are only visible to you and me. After which, the answers may be anonymised at the permission of the players and sent to the rest of the players through a spreadsheet simply detailing which options are a no-go, and which are okay.
