About the adventure

Join us for Out of the Abyss, a survival driven Dungeons and Dragons campaign where fear, desperation, and fragile alliances shape every step of your journey. You awaken in chains, deep beneath the world. The air is damp, the stone walls sweat, and the echoes of distant inhuman sounds never truly fade. You and a handful of other prisoners have been dragged into the Underdark, a vast lightless realm of subterranean cities, alien cultures, and things far older and more dangerous than surface folk were ever meant to face. Your captors are drow. Cruel, calculating, and utterly at home in this nightmare beneath the earth. Escape is possible. Survival is another matter entirely. Something is wrong down here. Settlements have fallen silent. Creatures behave erratically, violently, as if driven by unseen madness. Even the drow, normally composed and mercilessly precise, are unsettled. In the deepest reaches of the Underdark, ancient powers stir. Not gods exactly, but close enough that the difference may not save anyone if they rise. You are not heroes at the start of this story. You are prisoners, fugitives, survivors in a world that wants to swallow you whole. Food is scarce. Light is precious. Allies are uncertain. Every choice carries weight. Who do you trust. Who do you leave behind. When do you fight. When do you run. Your first goal is simple. Escape. Your second is to find a way back to the surface. What comes after depends on how much you uncover, how much you endure, and whether you decide the horrors below should remain buried or be confronted. Because if the Underdark descends fully into madness, the surface will not remain untouched. Safety

How Jen creates a safe table

its clear in the game that the church pushing human superiority are the bad guys, but I hope for an open and honest talk about what people are comfortable with.
