About the adventure
You are a party of adventurers who know each other from working and surviving together in the village, Edelweiss. You were either selected, or volunteered, to take on the perilous journey of upmost importance, and as such have been promoted to board members of the village council. Your choices hold weight. Gather supplies to ensure the survival of your village. Fight monsters along the way. Join the council, and help develop the growth and direction of your village. This campaign will start with you, the players, as scouts gathering resources to help Edelweiss, survive. It will start with discovers inherited to you by a beloved member of Edelweiss, who sacrificed themselves to bring supplies and information when the village was most desperate. As you secure supplies you will - Improve the village - Vote on laws - Invest in upgrades - Build a legacy The first few areas are close, and simple. But as the village grows, so will it's needs. Resources can be uncovered further out, though the further you get, the more dangerous things become. Progress at your own peril. --------------------------------------------------------- "Once comfortable, we grew soft. Then the Empress tightened her grip. The last scouts gave everything to drag life back to Edelweiss, leaving their frozen bodies as the price of our survival. Now, the mantle falls to you. Tundra stretches beyond sight. Monsters roam unpredictably. Yet you must move urgently along the marked paths, gathering what Edelweiss needs to survive. Edelweiss' fate rests in your hands, where every score could mean the difference between life and death. And when you return, find what rest you can — for the council will seek your guidance, and the village will act on your insight. We once lost our world, but the Gods spared us from demise. Again we faced ruin, but returned stronger then ever. Desperation united us, and hope became our guide. What lengths are you willing to go through? How will your decisions shape the village? During my free time, you can often find me immersed in games like Civilization 6, Frostpunk, and Overwatch, or preparing for exhilarating Dungeons and Dragons campaigns as either a player or a game master. Beyond my love for the fantastical, I am also a devoted lover of animals. With extensive experience in raising pets and delving into their nature and behaviors, I have developed a profound understanding of our furry companions. Currently, I am the proud owner of two cats who regularly bless our family with adorable kittens before finding them suitable forever homes. Creating your character
I own all character creation content available on Roll20. (Few races have not been added to the website.) My compendium is shared for your convenience. Please provide a picture of your concept character, so I can create you a token. You may use D&D Beyond, but a full character sheet is also required on Roll20. Stats are rolled. Roll 2 sets, choose either. Roll a bonus 4d6 (drop lowest) and you may choose to replace bonus roll with another stat. Official D&D 5th addition (2014) content only, please. If you are joining when the campaign has already begun, please have your character sheet complete before the session. I will be available for voice chat throughout the week if you would like any guidance.

Homebrew rules
When falling, a creature within reach may use a reaction to attempt to catch the target falling creature/object. Difficulty increases upon momentum. Increased fall damage dice cap. Ranged attacks fired as a reaction against a dashing creature have disadvantage.
