About the adventure
Step into the shadows of a personalized adventure in the World of Darkness. I will run for you a custom-created Vampire The Masquerade experience, for a deeply immersive and unique journey through the night. As a troupe, you will create your vampires and pick a city for them to inhabit. It could be your city, or somewhere you've always wanted to explore in the World of Darkness. Every city has its history, and history is the playing field of the immortals. Plots and schemes are going to be as dangerous as the deadliest gun, the most intense relationships and dark mysteries prowling the night. Find your way among the plots and webs of kindreds, learn old secrets and stories, face the monster within you, and forge your path. ---------- The game will be fully customised to you, and so it is open to all! Newcomers or veterans of the World of Darkness alike are welcome. If you already have a group of friends itching to play some Vampire the Masquerade, this is the perfect game for you!

🇬🇧 Hi! I'm Andrea, spawn of '89, from Italy. I would be honoured to be your storyteller (or "cantastorie", story-singer in Italian), and to craft together wondrous tales worth remembering! I am a professional computer games designer, which gives me an edge in crafting fantastic game experiences in general. My career in games is a natural evolution of my long love story with tabletop and live roleplaying games. I've plaid roleplaying games since I was 15, and in 2024 I started to go a bit more "professional" by organising games for kids and adults with a local community in my city. Creating your character
We will have an in-depth Session 0 where we will create together the playing characters, as well as define many aspects of the setting around them. Digital tools for character-making like Demiplane are most welcome but not required! I will share with you the core rules of Vampire 5th Edition on Alchemy VTT if you don't have access to those already.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord account and an account on Alchemy VTT. We will communicate and organise our sessions on my Discord server, Cortestoria, and we’ll run our sessions on Alchemy. Alchemy can be downloaded as an app on your computer, but that's optional! Knowledge of the game, its settings and mechanics are useful but are not required, rules will be explained as needed during the first sessions for new players. You will then only need a good internet connection and microphone. The use of a webcam is strongly encouraged but is not required.
What Andrea, the Italian Storyteller brings to the table
This is going to be a game tailored to the group, and as thus I will do my best to ensure the stories of your characters are front and center. Their actions will matter and will have the chance to shape the story and the world around them, but as momentous will also be the consequences of their decisions. The World of Darkness is a dangerous place! I will try my best to immerse you in the story with carefully sourced backgrounds, art, music and effects, and giving each NPC its proper characterisation and voice. But most of all I’ll create a believable and rich setting within the city you’ll have picked, carefully researching its history, prominent figures, customs and landmarks.

How Andrea, the Italian Storyteller creates a safe table
First and foremost I'll share with you a copy of the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist, which we can then discuss together on Session 0 to discuss what you want the theme of the game to be! Also, I always schedule a few minutes at the end of each session to decompress and address any possible bleed of emotions from the game to real life, and ease in to the real world!
