About the adventure
Brand new level 3-20 adventure for D&D 5e (2024 edition.) Hosted in Foundry VTT for gameplay, Discord for voice. The original Dungeons of Drakkenheim campaign will take you from level 3 to 10, and features several factions warring over the future of a ruined city twisted by an eldritch meteor. This adventure plays like a slower paced and difficult dungeon crawl where death lurks around every corner, but the politics of the warring factions create a vast number of emergent storylines and possible endings. Choose your allies wisely. The sequel is written by me and will take you from levels 10-20, a conflict on a global scale that will take you to the farthest reaches of the Drakkenheim world. One of the Old Gods has returned to the world, destroying everything in their path, and you must explore the world's forgotten past to discover why the gods abandoned you... Start at level 3 with standard starting equipment described in your class/background. We play with the following official variant rules: • Retraining. You can swap feats and class fighting style with sufficient downtime. • Critical hits/misses for any type of roll. If you roll a natural 20 on any type of roll you will succeed, but you must check with the GM before you roll for a certain action. This does not allow your character to perform impossible feats. A natural 1 is an automatic miss on any type of roll. This also applies to enemies. Game details: • Animated spells and weather effects. • High-resolution maps and tokens. • Voice acting for NPCs. • Using 2024 edition of rules, or "Onednd". All official D&D 5e sourcebooks are allowed. Many 3rd party publishers allowed, full list is in our Discord channel. Please ask the GM if you wish to use any other 3rd party material. • Ambient soundscapes and music. • Hosted on Foundry for gameplay, Discord for voice chat. Webcam optional. • Standard D&D 5e rules using changes from 2024 editions. • Interactive environment with lots of non-combat gameplay potential. • Discord used to chat with group members in between sessions. • Tokens will be provided. • Beginner-friendly, still challenging for experts. • Newcomers are welcome to join at any point during the adventure. • Campaign takes players from about level 3-20

About me
Stop worrying about schedule issues, and start having fun! This tabletop community is LGBTQ+ friendly and supportive. I have a BA in creative writing and worked as a professional writer for years before committing to being a full-time Game Master. Running fun games is my passion, and I love to immerse myself in the lore of the worlds we inhabit together. I offer a premium experience with animations, high-resolution maps, voice acting, and a committed GM who takes the time to integrate your character into the world. I am generally a rules-as-written GM but I love to reward creative solutions and problem solving. You can expect that I will stick to the rulebook, especially in a combat scenario. I take a hard stance against generative A.I. for in-game content. Some game listings may use generated art, but all stories and encounters are personally designed by me without the assistance of A.I. prompts.

Creating your character
Please discuss character creation in the Discord channel prior to game start. If you need help we can spend some time during session 0 to finish your character or tie backstories together, but I would prefer character creation to be completed beforehand so we can jump right into the action.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure you have a working mic, create a free Foundry account and a free Discord account. Please maintain access to your character sheet at all times. Using the sheets in Foundry are not necessary, you can roll physical dice and report rolls on the mic/chat if you prefer. New players welcome!
