About the adventure
Beginner Friendly and Session 0 is free. Session time and day are subject to change based on player needs. A group of Adventurers neared their target, a mage seeking to finish a powerful ritual, they could not anticipate the trap they had walked into. Unknowingly acting as conduits for the ritual. Still, all was not lost and they attempted to bring their target down. Only to be pulled into a magical vortex, hurling them far from the mage. Far away in both space, and time. 2000 years later the Adventurers find themselves transported to a world of steel and glass. The kingdoms and empires of the past dissolved long ago. Now only one leader remains; Kisos, the very mage that had defeated them so long ago who now controls nearly every aspect of this new dystopian world. Kisos hunts the party, knowing the time they were to return to the world. Seeking to destroy the last remains of the old world.

About me
I like to design the game around what vibes best with the players and will build the plot around their interests. I'm quick with improv moments but still like to have an over all plot to things, making me more skilled at sandboxes than linear paths. You can expect a good mix of everything from absurd humor to visceral horror, occasionally in the same scene. Adventure and new companions await in my games. Come have a good time! Custom booking is available and the price subject to change based on what you're looking for!

Creating your character
Characters will start at lvl3, using either the 2014 or 2024 rules. We'll hold a session 0 and have a discord server for anything and everything Campaign related. I'll work with each player to build out their character. If you're a new player just let me know and I'll be happy to walk you through the process. Anything official is up for use. I don't mess with homebrew character options much. Character sheets will be hosted on roll20 but if you have a personal method, D&D beyond or a physical sheet, you can use that to track things. I'd just need the roll20 sheet and the personal method to match up.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A mic is required, but a camera isn't. Personal choice to use a camera or not. You'll need roll20 and discord accounts as well. You don't have to create a character ahead of session 0 but will need one before the first session. If you don't like the vibe of myself or the rest of the group no harm, no loss. For new players: It'd be nice if you knew some rules a bit before getting into things but if not, no big deal. Plenty of time to learn during the game.
What Dungeon Keeper Andy brings to the table
I like to make games that fit the player's choices and characters. Backgrounds will be worked in as much as can be and the setting will react to and be shaped what the players do within it. I also enjoy plenty of goof and levity. Things are no fun if its just serious spook all the time, gotta laugh too right? I dislike killing player characters, I prefer to challenge and impede. Most of the time I like to find other ways around it, a permanent wound or something along those lines. A lost eye or limp. When running combat I like to make it a challenge but not overwhelming. Some monsters will play to the party's strengths while others will be included to prod at weaknesses. Combat is where I like to stick to rules the hardest but even then bend on a few things here and there. I won't do a voice for every NPC and some minor conversations will be glossed over (Don't need to rp out renting a room at an inn every time for example) but some will either if they're important or I just think it'd be fun to give an npc a voice. It might be more common for an npc to have a preferred method of talking rather than a full accent. I'm no pro voice actor but like to bring what I can. Under no condition will sexual content be described or roleplayed.
Homebrew rules
Reroll 1s and 2s on hit die increases. If you roll a 2 twice in a row you've gotta keep it. If a new, Official, class option or spell or feat or anything comes out that fits your character better than what was chosen at the time feel free to switch out for it, just let me know you're going to do it. During a Short Rest, characters with a Prepared Spells list can change out Prepared spells with any other spell they have available of the same level. Spell Scrolls can be used by anyone. They are tools like any other. Stored Saves: At the start of each session all players roll 4d20. The results of those rolls are put onto a list. On occasion during the session the DM might consult that lit of rolls for hidden saves. These will only be for saves/checks that the player character otherwise wouldn't be aware of. An example as to what this is for: An NPC has slipped poison into a player character's food without their knowledge. I'll then roll 1d4 while looking at the list and picks one of the stored saves based on the d4 roll. Checks the PC's con save and if the PC succeeded, they'll never know the attempt was made. If they fail...well they'll know in the usual way. I also sometimes use stored saves if I can't decide on who to target with an attack/effect.
