About the adventure
Alien Cinematic Campaigns drop you immediately into the story. Each has their own pre-generated characters with strong backgrounds and agendas that help drive play. The lost, scared survivors of Hadley's Hope; a group of space truckers with a dangerous payload who are now a year off course; Colonial Marines pulled from their squads on a secret mission just before the war's front reachers their moon; and others. It manages to capture the feel of both Alien and Aliens and have connections throughout. When PC's die, there are other characters to use as we create the story of these possibly doomed souls. Alien was a game I thought would be a cheap throwaway that turned into one of my favorite games to set down for new and experienced players alike.

About me
ImprovGM on Tiktok. I've been doing improv for over 20 years and run workshops at GenCon teaching those skills to gamers. I run a wide variety of games that focus on player run narratives that emphasize characters and emotional stakes. I've had a great time seeing how much people and scenes come alive in the workshops I've run and want to bring that to others.

Creating your character
The Cinematic Campaigns have pregenerated characters with Agendas that are used throughout. If we end up doing a campaign after going through all of the Cinematic Campaigns, making characters for Alien is pretty quick and simple.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We'll be using zoom and Foundry for the games themselves. I have a discord that I post the Zoom links each week as well as any other discussions the players have.
What Mikel (ImprovGM) brings to the table
We'll use Foundry for character sheets and to keep information and notes and I'll bring everything that's needed, included information about character abilities. It'll be mainly theatre of the mind style play,. though the Cinematic Campaigns have great area maps for Foundry.
