About the adventure
Within the haunting mists of Ravenloft, far away from the lands you've known, lies the twisted domain of the Dark Lord Strahd, housing his terrible titular Curse. Characters will be exposed to horrors, entrapments, and trials the likes of which they've never imagined, all in a desperate attempt to escape this cursed land. This will all be over text, which I am well aware is a less-than-ideal way to play Dungeons and Dragons, especially when you're paying for it! But just know that I am hoping to provide a very attentive and in-depth resource of storytelling in this format, and trying to make the best use of my time, so I fully understand this isn't something everyone will be interested in. I will still provide: -Artwork of your character and/or key scenes -Fully engaging narrative, story, and usage of the 5e module -Active combat encounters, with mechanical changes to make the adventure thrilling and action-packed.

About me
Hello! I am a recent college graduate and have just become a father, seeking out a way to support my growing family by doing the thing I love! My favorite thing is giving standard adventures, stories, and mechanics unique twists! I love running pre-released adventures in unique settings, be it Wild West in Space, Dragons and Dieselpunk, what have you! I run a very accepting game, and do not tolerate any disrespect towards your fellow players! Meanies? Out. Everyone else? What Michael brings to the table
I'm normally a very involved DM, doing voices, providing music, etc., but for this game specifically, I will provide attentive responses, my best attempts at well-written dialogue and narration, and a narratively satisfying tale that is still mechanically interesting.
Homebrew rules
Drinking potions are bonus actions, I use the Perkins crit, you can only take the Help action if you are proficient in the skill being used, and medicine checks do not automatically stabilize on a successful check, but rather grant one successful death saving throw.
